I think I remember Shane Carwin doing this in some of his fights.

I think it would be a big advantage to have an energy drink, or even a milk/banana smoothie in between rounds to get more energy.

I remember years and years ago, some of my Arab students recommended Camels milk as being very good for energy.

Is this illegal? Why don't more fighters do this?

At one point, I think ufc said only water was allowed, due to spilling and stickiness

And around that time you would see people taking fake sips of closed xyience cans and stuff

Don’t know if that’s still a rule though

Yes drink milk in between rounds.

Lol wtf is happening

Probably makes more sense to do it before the fight that way your stomach settles it already and the benefit is in your system. IDK how long it takes to get the energy benefit after consumption, but essentially it would have to be immediately to work between rounds.

If there is a ban I wonder if any camps ever crush up caffeine pills and add them to their water.

Also, there's actually a limit of caffeine you're allowed to have in your system IIRC

Camel milk as it is, lmao.
I think sugar will just make ya more thirsty i wouldnt imagine wanting anything else but water

I’ve heard Chael say he drinks caffeine pre fight but that even too much of it is prohibited and will cause a test fail, and hey if anyone would know.

They could be pulsing 4 loko and fight milk into the 5th round.

ALL the energy you need should be in your stomach/system before starting the fight. The water is just used to rehydrate a bit and taking away the sense of thirst.

It's just 15 minutes (25 at he most), no nutrition in between needed.

The only thing besides water I would ever drink between rounds is Powerade.

Caffeine takes about 20 minutes to start working

I think they should go to McDonald's in between rounds, because then they would weigh more than their opponents, which seems like an advantage to me.
