Can anyone help in regards to watching Fight Pass (Rod on chat is terrible) - UPDATE on relaunch

What device are you using?
iPhone, Xbox1 and Macbook. iPhone app is always perfect and hardly ever lags. It’s easy to find everything you’re looking for, just type in the name of the fighter and you get his own video library and records. On Xbox it’s pure shit. Aside from videos lagging unbearably every second time, the search option isn’t the same as on pc and smartphones. It’s in 90% impossible to find a fight you’re looking for so you end up with watching the reccomended. Not that it’s just unable to give you the fight you wanted, but mostly results show no single fights at all. Just press conferences and full events. I’m guessing that’s a lag too because only once it actually showed the wanted fight, but again no fighter profiles like on other devices.
On the computer it works perfectly but only on browsers like Safari, Chrome and Mozila. It’s a pain in the ass because I recently started using Opera as the primary one. I think they even say on the site that it only works on 3-4 browsers. You can still enter the Fight Pass on Opera tho, but you can’t view any videos so it’s basically nothing.

I see, my nephew is giving me his Xbox anyway so I'll try it but no doubt it'll be like you mentioned, it's a shame really cause they've got a fantastic product but a shit app that just causes problems for so many people on devices.

I don't like using things on my phone to watch cause I prefer it on my TV, I've got a nice TV on the wall which looks awesome when UFC events and footage is on there and I don't like sitting on my phone to watch things either, it doesn't cast to my TV but all these devices they have it available on its like they should all work as that's why they're out there, not only that they advise you to get these things and then say "We know" when you've done so and told them about it not working properly.

I'm surprised they haven't got it on PS4 too but as I say, I've been speaking to them a bit recently and they've said a new app is coming next month so hopefully this will fix things, I don't hold my breathe but if they put out a new app and don't even fix anything on it, what's the point.
 
I can't even believe I have to ask here because Fight Pass won't help me and pretty much say "Oh well", so I'm hoping you guys can help cause you're probably more helpful anyway.

I recently bought Fight Pass however less than 24 hours I've had frustration from the help team (which is always Rod) as I've bought an Amazon Firestick (4K) but when you're watching through the app it constantly goes out of sync, after doing a quick google search this has been the case for over 3 years.

Spoke to Rod and he said "Yeah we know, people always have issue's with it" and that was it, I asked him if they're going to fix it and he just pasted all these other devices completely ignoring me and then said it works fine with the browser there.

So I opened up Silk, logged in and the video's don't play so I thought I'll try Firefox as that supports flash, logged in and it says "Use the app if you want to watch" ffs.

So, as the app is crap, Silk doesn't support, Firefox says "Use app dickhead" can anyone tell me is there a way to log in with my Firestick to Fight Pass as I need it for my TV (that was the whole idea of buying it as they suggested).

My Firestick is wired with a solid connection through Amazon Ethernet so it's spot on and all the other TV streaming services (Netflix, Youtube, Pluto) are all perfect, it's only Fight Pass that is crap but Rod says it's Amazon's fault when you speak to him on chat so is about as helpful as a wet lettuce.

Is there another browser I can use that will work? Any advice is much appreciated :)

Edit: This is what it looks like by the way after about 7 - 8 minutes, it's perfectly fine before that point but then you can guarantee it goes out if sync like this on every video.



Edit: Just got this update now, hopefully this fixes the issue's for everyone but let's see eh?

Fight Pass works fine with a non-4k Firestick.

Maybe 4k is your problem.

Not a clue, from searching Google and speaking to them it's been a common issue for the last 3 years so I have no idea lol

Every other TV streaming app works perfectly fine on it, really well even, just gonna see what this update does next month, if anything lol

Bellator 227 prelims on Friday played perfectly fine for hours full screen in the Firefox browser app on Bellator.com/live; then Combate Americas 45 prelims played great for hours Friday evening on Facebook Watch app. Saturday morning I watched the entire UFC Copenhagen card via the ESPN+ app- it also played perfectly fine for hours. Then Bellator 228 on Saturday evening on DAZN app, worked great for hours, perfect audio & video sync on Fire TV 4K.

However, now it's Sunday and I'm catching up with Glory 68 from Saturday (not live) on Fight Pass via the UFC app, and guess what? Audio & video are going out of sync unless I fast forward and back or vice versa every so often to make it correct again. Hopefully a new version of the UFC (Fight Pass) app comes soon and fixes this.

Yeah, it's so inconsistent isn't it but it's clear the issue is with the app, specially when we know it's a common thing and pretty much everything else works fine and we know it's capable of working fine.

Yeah the Bellator thing you mentioned from the address is a good idea, if only Fight Pass would do that as I tried that and it was frustrating because when I would log in and go to a video to play it there would be no play button and just telling me to use the app so I didn't have the option, had that option had have been there it could have been alright and a temporary solution at least, this is the thing Fight Pass know this and they know it's awkward like this but they just leave it for so long and tell you to buy other devices (which Xbox was also one he listed to me to go buy and as someone said above it happens to them on there with Fight Pass), they should just fix the app or if they're not capable of doing so get a better team that can, the same way Netflix, Pluto and all the other working app's do perfectly fine.

Hopefully this update fixes things but I'm not so sure to be honest, I can't see any point of them putting out a new app and not fixing the issue's they know they have but I guess we'll have to see, it's exactly the same for me which you mention to get it back in sync again it's a pain and makes it very un enojoyable.

Other than that Fight Pass is great but right now they're making it completely unusuable.

I am on the verge of dropping Fight Pass. The final straw (actually the 3rd or 4th final straw) is how jerky the framerate is on the fight library.

It didn’t bother me as much until I got used to ESPN+ smoothness. Now it’s driving me crazy. There are times where a fast strike connects between frames and you can’t even see it hit.

Also, one more gripe: ESPN+ IS NOT ARCHIVING THE OLD FIGHTS!!! Yeah, they have some, but not all. Shevchenko vs Carmouche just has the main event and nothing else. Not on FP, not on ESPN, only available illegally...WTF
 
Bumping this thread because I am pleased to say that the re-design of the UFC.tv site which went live today and simultaneous update of the Fight Pass app for Fire TV which I upgraded to today seems to have fixed the audio/video sync problem that was specific to Fire TV 4K devices. I am currently three fights into a replay of the most recent WXC Warrior Wednesday 9 card and it is staying in sync perfectly!
