Can anyone help in regards to watching Fight Pass (Rod on chat is terrible) - UPDATE on relaunch

I got problems with fight pass too...lots o problems but I keep paying for it cause I am fucking stupid as shit.
Actually it works pretty good on my android and you watch it through the UFC ap. Except everytime you start watching a video about half way through it kicks you out and then you have to find where you were before. This really sucks if you are watching a long event ...

What do you normally watch it on other than your android? I'm kinda wondering what it's like on the Xbox so going to try it on my nephews on there, as I say when I spoke to them recently they said they knew it was an issue with the app and that it's fine on all the other devices (he actually pasted in a few other devices for me to buy which kind of annoyed me really cause it's like why don't you fix the app like it should be).

As I say until it goes out of sync it's absolutely spot on, it's brilliant but soon as it goes out of sync it just spoils it and you have to rewind and then forward back to your part by pressing it once each way and it's perfectly fine again until it goes again and then you have to do the same thing.

I've not tried live stream on Fight Pass with it yet but from what I've heard people have said the live stream is fine on the Firestick as I did see some saying it was just the library that does this, as mentioned above it's only Fight Pass out of loads of things I've tried now that I have the problem with so hopefully this update they are doing will fix the problem as it seems to have been an on going thing for a while

Yeah I know, I thought that too, even browsers are saying no longer supported after December 2020 but they are revamping the service now so hopefully they'll fix this too as when it comes to next December it'll be no good.

Yeah, it's spot on with Chrome too but it needs to be better than just working on PC's as good, a lot of people don't have PC's now and those devices they tell you to get before you buy your Fight Pass and then when you do they say "Yeah we know it has problems" when you let them know, at least with Fire anyway.

As I mentioned above too their site uses flash to watch the video's also which even Google Chrome now when you open it up says "Flash will not longer be support by December 2020" so the whole system needs to be updated big time for this and for the app's to be much better.

I mean you can't really put out a service that's unsupported or so bad and then expect people to cater to that, it's their job to keep it running on all devices perfectly fine which people are paying subscriptions for however as I say apparently we're close to a relaunch on this so hopefully they'll fix these things also as well as of course change it from flash because that's not going to work soon either.

Apps for the firestick and web os( tv) havent been updated in years.
They are glitchy, they know this but dont give a fuck.
Only android and iOS gets any attention aside from watching it again through an outdated method of a laptop/ PC web browser.

I watch through a firestick, its workable in comparison to my smart tv which is beyond a joke.

If you are going to supply a pay service, update your dedicated apps for all platforms. It's pretty basic

Last I checked maybe a year ago, the UFC web os app hadn't received an update since 2015.let that sink in.

I can't even believe I have to ask here because Fight Pass won't help me and pretty much say "Oh well", so I'm hoping you guys can help cause you're probably more helpful anyway.

I recently bought Fight Pass however less than 24 hours I've had frustration from the help team (which is always Rod) as I've bought an Amazon Firestick (4K) but when you're watching through the app it constantly goes out of sync, after doing a quick google search this has been the case for over 3 years.

Spoke to Rod and he said "Yeah we know, people always have issue's with it" and that was it, I asked him if they're going to fix it and he just pasted all these other devices completely ignoring me and then said it works fine with the browser there.

So I opened up Silk, logged in and the video's don't play so I thought I'll try Firefox as that supports flash, logged in and it says "Use the app if you want to watch" ffs.

So, as the app is crap, Silk doesn't support, Firefox says "Use app dickhead" can anyone tell me is there a way to log in with my Firestick to Fight Pass as I need it for my TV (that was the whole idea of buying it as they suggested).

My Firestick is wired with a solid connection through Amazon Ethernet so it's spot on and all the other TV streaming services (Netflix, Youtube, Pluto) are all perfect, it's only Fight Pass that is crap but Rod says it's Amazon's fault when you speak to him on chat so is about as helpful as a wet lettuce.

Is there another browser I can use that will work? Any advice is much appreciated

Edit: This is what it looks like by the way after about 7 - 8 minutes, it's perfectly fine before that point but then you can guarantee it goes out if sync like this on every video.

I have a laptop hooked up to my TV, watch Fightpass through an internet browser, and have never had this issue.

Yeah, that's what a lot of people are doing cause of the issue's with their app's etc... I've no idea what the other devices are like (I'm going to try it with an Xbox I think and see how it goes there) however a few people are doing this because of the issue's with app's not working etc..

It's not possible for me isn't this as my TV is mounted on my wall (it's a pretty big TV and is close to the wall), all my HDMI's are used and I don't even have a laptop but it seems a lot of people are doing this simply because of how insufficient the app's are for some.

I do wonder what it's like on the Xbox though, I have a Playstation but they don't have the app there as well as the other devices I mentioned earlier (so I have quite a lot) but I am going to try it with an Xbox at some point although as mentioned above they are apparently relaunching it all so hopefully it'll be much better then for people which it needs to be really

As I say, they're apparently relaunching it which I learned from this thread here so hopefully this will fix a lot of this, their service on web browsers also works by flash which is completely cutting off by December 2020 too so they have no choice but to rework it all anyway so it is better now they do it too.

Do you have an Xbox or a smart tv? Maybe the answer is no because you’re using a fire stick. I recommend picking up a Chromecast.

My dad, who doesnt have a smart tv,purchased a firestick. I was setting it up for him and having a play around with it and decided go install fight pass. I instantly realised that is performed much better than my tv. I bought a firestick basically, solely for fight pass. Imagine that. It's not even like the fire tv app works properly, it's still shit but it was a small upgrade.

Yeah, hopefully when they revamp Fight Pass soon they will fix these issue's, they are aware of them so they should do and also with flash completely going away soon too they're going to have to amend that too otherwise it won't work at all then.

Just wanted to add, I've got the live Cage Warriors on now and yep, it's gone out of sync so it's not just the catalogue but the live stream as well (some people on Google search said their live feed was fine but the catalogue goes out if sync).

I hope they fix this soon as it's only my fight pass this happens on.

I don’t know dude, I bought it month and a half ago and I haven’t experienced a single lag since then. It is all running perfectly and in HD. My only complaint is that it works only on certain browsers and the Xbox One app for it is shit

What device are you using? My nephew said he is gonna give me his Xbox soon so I'm gonna try it on there at some point, works perfectly fine on the browser for me but just as mentioned above.

I hope this new app that's coming really fixes these cause it's a common problem it seems, it's the only app that tends to do it for me and I've used lots of HD streaming completely fine so fingers crossed.

They do need to care a bit more to be honest as it does feel like they can't be bothered a little, they know about the issue but it's been on going and with a might fix thing from them so will see.

Apparently next month the new app is coming.
