Can anyone help in regards to watching Fight Pass (Rod on chat is terrible) - UPDATE on relaunch

I can't even believe I have to ask here because Fight Pass won't help me and pretty much say "Oh well", so I'm hoping you guys can help cause you're probably more helpful anyway.

I recently bought Fight Pass however less than 24 hours I've had frustration from the help team (which is always Rod) as I've bought an Amazon Firestick (4K) but when you're watching through the app it constantly goes out of sync, after doing a quick google search this has been the case for over 3 years.

Spoke to Rod and he said "Yeah we know, people always have issue's with it" and that was it, I asked him if they're going to fix it and he just pasted all these other devices completely ignoring me and then said it works fine with the browser there.

So I opened up Silk, logged in and the video's don't play so I thought I'll try Firefox as that supports flash, logged in and it says "Use the app if you want to watch" ffs.

So, as the app is crap, Silk doesn't support, Firefox says "Use app dickhead" can anyone tell me is there a way to log in with my Firestick to Fight Pass as I need it for my TV (that was the whole idea of buying it as they suggested).

My Firestick is wired with a solid connection through Amazon Ethernet so it's spot on and all the other TV streaming services (Netflix, Youtube, Pluto) are all perfect, it's only Fight Pass that is crap but Rod says it's Amazon's fault when you speak to him on chat so is about as helpful as a wet lettuce.

Is there another browser I can use that will work? Any advice is much appreciated :)

Edit: This is what it looks like by the way after about 7 - 8 minutes, it's perfectly fine before that point but then you can guarantee it goes out if sync like this on every video.



Edit: Just got this update now, hopefully this fixes the issue's for everyone but let's see eh?

Unfortunately, we were unable to replicate your reported issues. The development team has indicated there will be no changes to the current app environment. However, we will be releasing a new app across all devices next month. Please check periodically for app updates.

Do you have an Xbox or a smart tv? Maybe the answer is no because you’re using a fire stick. I recommend picking up a Chromecast.

Oh mate, I feel like it, really frustrating.

I wouldn't mind but he lied to me too about the 7 day free trial thing, I signed up a bit back but wasn't able to use my free trial due to internet problems so I asked if I could have a 24 hour one or something just to try it out and he said "No, free trials aren't available", I linked him a page I found in Google search and he said it's an outdated thing and then went to Fight Pass actual site and in the FAQ's there it says there's a 7 day free trial, he's full of shit there and doesn't help at all, just pisses you off.

Then with these problems here he's pretty much said "Yeah we know" and it's like "Well are you gonna fix it then" and he completely ignores and pastes in all the other devices.

So annoying, I'm a new customer so they're supposed to keep me sweet at least haha
 
UFC products have terrible customer service? I for one am shocked

Nah, Playstation and Chromecast I tried before but it was no good for me so I sent it back plus there's no spare sockets on the back of my TV which is on my wall and mounted quite close to the wall, it's a big TV too so I can't really take it down to change devices etc... it's a pain.

Honestly, they should make it much easier than this, the app is there but they know it goes out of sync and looks like it has done for a long time looking on Google lol

This is an absolute pain, it wouldn't be so bad if the Firefox browser didn't force you to watch in the app when you log in.

Why don't they just fix the app on there considering they know already people are having issue's with it, it's only the Fight Pass streaming service that has this problem so I don't get it lol

Do a quick google of "Fight Pass going out of sync on firestick" and you'll see it's a common thing yet they'll advise you to get a Firestick as a device to watch it with lol
 
You have to pay for Fight Pass+ Premium ESPN edition for it to be in sync

I saw that, within 5 or 10 minutes it goes out of sync again lol

I can also press the back or forward button for a minute and then go back again but it goes out of sync again quite quickly, they told me on chat it's a known thing.

They just keep blaming Amazon yet every other streaming TV app is absolutely perfectly fine on the Firestick which is a great device, it's just the Fight Pass app which they're fully aware of lol

It's brilliant until it goes out of sync, why can't they just fix it then it would be spot on lol
 
Like you I have the new Fire TV 4K and I noticed the same problem too. All the other apps work fine and hold audio & video sync, including ESPN+, DAZN, Facebook Watch, Pluto, Xumo, you name it. I do what you do and exit out and go back into the video real quickly or pause & fast forward to get it to get back to normal, but it does fall out of sync again soon enough. I really like the Fire TV devices and have now bought into the Amazon eco-system with the Recast DVR to record over the air tv signals from an antenna I'm about to get installed on my roof and a Prime account so I don't really want to switch to different streaming devices at this point. If it really bothers you, you might try hooking up a laptop or tablet with mini/micro HDMI to your tv which is what I used to do before I got the Fire TV and you'll see that holds sync well, but of course then you don't have a handy remote if you are watching from your couch. I'm hoping maybe a Fight Pass update at some point fixes it while I am living with this minor annoyance.

Yeah, I've just put UFC Now on and within 8 minutes it's out of sync already, it's absolutely great before it goes out of sync but it's an absolute pain and looking on Google there's posts about this from 3 years ago and UFC know because Rod just said to me on the chat "Yeah we know", it's like "You know but you're not doing anything about it" lol

Then he started saying it's a problem with the device (meaning Amazon) but like what you mentioned above about every other TV streaming service working absolutely fine on it so it's not Amazon at all, it's the Fight Pass app which wouldn't be so bad if it let you use the browser as an alternative but it doesn't.

He said to me also that people who have this problem should email [email protected] and let them know there about it, so maybe you should write an email too when you've got some time and get onto them cause if this has been going on for so long they need to sort it out not expect people to go out and buy other devices etc..

I really like the Firestick too, I've not had it long but I love it and I wouldn't mind as much but they advised me to get this in the first place and now I have and they're like "Yeah we know it goes out of sync".
