Not yet but its likely our power will go out sometime this week because of the humid heat wave and everyone using their AC on the block.Any of you have a power shut down last night?
We didn't have a warning but PG&E shut down parts of San Jose last night for an hour. It was 104f in Mountain View last night when I stopped for groceries, mental.

Haha. Planning on Austin in the spring.
Man. I miss my smoker. It used to be a ritual on a Friday night to marinade pork butt, ribs or brisket to smoke for hours on a Saturday. The first meal you eat at your new place should be BBQ, IMO.
Apparently around $80 so we're not doing too badly, haha. Have you spoken to PG&E and asked for a break down? I'm sure they will have to.@fingercuffs what's your electricity bill each month? Is it predictable? Mine varies widely by like $175, and I have no idea why. I was gone for like 2 weeks and unplugged all the major appliances last month, and my energy bill was almost identical for that month compared to the one before. No idea...
Paradise lost
Limited to an hour a day here, if it goes out I bet it isn't at 2pm when I get to go for my swim.
I was looking at the houses up there, it’s was beautiful. The road down to Chico is a pretty drive, we were considering moving there.Lmao, it was such an awesome place. It was it's own little place. Felt like an island. We called it The Ridge. Two immense canyons on either side. It was a blade of Earth pushed high I to the sky. There were so many incredible things up there.
I know people that were born there and had never left. Not even for a day.
Crazy.

Mateface holy fuck!! I can't believe what I'm reading! Which hospital were you in, ? I had the most (not nice, you get what I mean) in Los Gatos at El Camino. Obviously not nice being put under but they were lovely. My roommates told me no blackouts so far, we're downtown in the Hensley neighborhood.
I've been at valley medical since Thursday. I was making lunch on Wed round 1130 and had a seizure, which happens to me every few months but the way I fell on my right leg I ended up both dislocating and breaking a bone in my ankle. Also broke my fibula in the lower right leg. Never dislocated or broke anything before. The x-rays are awful.
They had to relocate the ankle bone once on Thursday and 4 times yesterday because it kept slipping out of place. Super unstable. They had to do surgery to drill screws and bars to my leg to keep that foot in place till the swelling goes down. Then they will do another procedure.
I was awake for those resets and have never endured pain like that. Sucked like a mofo. They gave me 2 pops of morphine, a pop of fentanyl and I was still screaming and passed out during the the 1st relocation on Thursday. Yesterday they loaded me up with Dilated an oxy and it still didn't help at all.
Did that nightmare 5 times, words don't really tell what it was/is like. Hospital staff is really awesome and has kicked ass... Definitely kicked my ass that's for sure.

I only went there for surgery, my treatment was in Campbell.Over at valley medical center on bascom ave. Big hospital but yeah the staff is really making this ordeal a lot nicer.
Ive got a few months of rehabilitation ahead.
Just trying to deal with it. Real freaky to look at my leg and see metal bars screwed into my leg and foot.

I didn't know this of you. Considering how awful we all are at the moment, we can all use an extra friend so yell out to me if you need anything.
Mean it.
Big Trump fan with the orange, haha? That's really appreciated, I haven't been medically allowed to drive the last 12 years and I'm definitely going to be handicapped for a little bit with no biking or walking at all.
