I think he's making a point about the open hypocrisy and poor policy choices of democrats and how it hurts society. Same topic as the thread and it should be called out so that we avoid incompetent politicians like this to prevent more senseless tragedies.

Posting a random Twitter post isn't making a point. Jeez, the brianrot is real. Is the argument that the politician doesn't have a actual security need for more protection than the average civilian? Or that the LAPD budget should never be cut? Or what?

I'm guessing the other guy never got that far, he ducks whenever you ask detailed questions. Like a lot of folks in this thread, he's in it for the partisanship, not actual gold faith concerns.

It wasn't a lack of water, in fact the system worked at maximum capacity for 15 hours straight. Name another district that can do that? There was water available, they just didn't have the pressure.

Reservoirs in the area of the fire were not at full capacity. Fact. Low pressure can result from too little water fact. President Trump offered Newsom enough water to keep those reservoirs full and he refused. Fact.

People have lost their lives over this. Newsom and the mayor of LA should be tried for murder. Their immediate resignation is the only acceptable response at this point. Their reign of terror and incompetence has run its course.

It differs by city. I'm not sure about the city of Los Angeles, but I own an empty plot of land in Malibu. I have to clear brush off that fucker every year. Ball busting operation that takes about a whole week if I'm out there by myself. So I know some cities/counties require it. Problem is there is still a lot of State and Federal land right up there. My little plot in Malibu backs up against the pretty large National Forest. Not sure if anyone's been clearing that spot out like it needs to be.
