Opinion California on fire

Well if you own a house that was destroyed, you'd still be able to own the property and rebuild whatever you want. Single family or not. I don't think you realize how affluent (and therefore inefficient from a housing perspective) Pacific Palisades is. Median price of sold homes is a couple million, at least. Not to mention the rest of the state and country will be bailing out these primarily wealthy folks.

You have zero clue about the Coastal Comission Building codes

You obviously read nothing and instead will regurgitate media talking points...
I actually did skim it. I don't disagree on forest management having a lot of room for improvement. But I'm pointing out you are automatically ascribing a statewide problem to one specific case without actual evidence.

I like how you think the Coastal Commission will be bullying a bunch of very rich and deep pocketed folks, as opposed to the other way around. It's usually rich property owners near the water who abuse the commission's powers.

But feel free to expand on the CCC's codes as they apply to Pacific Palisades.

Bro the LA River doesn't run anywhere near Pacific Palisades. Not to mention it's the federal government that controls it and was responsible for its transformation into the setting of Grease.

Stop faking bro, I live here, I can literally step out of my front door right now, walk a couple blocks, jump the fence, and be in the LA River. The Palisades are not that far away. Not to mention out of all of the movies you have to choose from that have filmed there, of course you reference the gayest one.

Seeing them shuffle around using bags of water instead of hoses is INSANE.
The bags are standard equipment for putting out localised areàs of fire e.g dumpsters. Its done so they dont have to take out the firehose.

The river runs along the 710 for most of its course. Are you trying to tell me that Boyle Heights is close to Pacific Palisades? Because that's as far west as the river runs these days.

Spoiler: You have a terrible sense of geography for an Angeleno. Sorry Grease upsets you. I'll reference Fast and Furious next time.

Oh that’s lovely… we’ll get a front row seat to the privledge of the California elite who get ro bypass all the insane red tape commoners have to agonize with

Meanwhile, Maui and NC victims get $750 and left on their own

It’d been two years and most Maui victims are still have no progress to show

I honestly want to see this happen as the entire country witnesses California get preferential treatment and turn against the Democrat party

lol… So FEMA is going to help these rich blue staters cover all expenses??

Awesome

Who are these commoners in Pacific Palisades who would be screwed by the CCC?

Same they do for red states in hurricanes.

To be fair, it is going to be pretty tough for all these people to find a place to stay considering all the hotels the city has booked out exclusively for all the homeless bums at rates people from the Palisades can't afford.

So Rich home owners bad, rich developers good?

No, the ability to decide if you want to build a mansion on your property or an adult or condo complex is good. Developers don't magically gain land here they'd have to buy it.

Of course, but they have to rich to buy it correct? Last I checked land wasn't cheap there. And what makes you think people who had single family homes would want to build anything other than that? Seems a bit far fetched.

They're demonic. They connected the fires on a map and it formed a pentagram. I can't post pics here. Each location where the fires started, draw a line to the next location. The fires made a huge ass pentagram.

Saint Peter Bless 🙏🏿
