Economy California Democrats escalate their housing crisis... Pass Bill to handout up to $150,000 for 1st time buyers for Illegal Immigrants

According to the California Housing Market Trends and Forecast 2024, the median home price is anticipated to climb by 6.2% to $860,300 in 2024.

no matter how much water you try to carry............it's 150K to illegals

Yes, some illegals will get 150k. It's not the big gotcha you think it is.

The reasons why it's not have been discussed at length in this thread.

This clip is interesting because she has this whole spin answer ready to go, and after going with it for a couple minutes. Then he follows up, asking if she would vote for it.

Her reply after going on for two minutes is that she don’t even know the bill lol

Actually Air BnB'd in Bakersfield for a few days a couple of years ago with the possibility of buying there. Granted it was mainly for the Korn connection but I still bought a house in Kern County so it still sort of counts.

Korn? As in John Davis?
Sounds like my workout playlist.

Why do these fucking clowns insist on putting illegals before our own citizens? Quite frankly, it’s disgusting.

Yeah, I was in love with them, even flew from the UK in 2002 to see them in their home town Bakersfield being Disturbed were supporting them who I loved as well.

Kind of funny I moved just down the road 22 years later. I've lost count and didn't keep ticket stubs but I think I've seen them 15 or so times and on their new tour they're not coming to flippin Bakersfield!

What are your favorite songs? Of course, shoots and ladders, but I also love alone I break, thoughtless, hey daddy, and quite a few more.

I have a thing for more obscure tracks like Starting Over, Do What They Say and Everything I've Known. Not trying to be edgy, I adore their earlier stuff as well. Even have Follow The Leader on the wall in my bar being it was the first album that made me fall in love with them and bring me to Kern County.

I was so addicted to them I went to see them on a Saturday and the day after in London. But I'd say flying to Bakersfield to see them rates up there as pretty big fangirl status. Meeting them in London was funny, Jon and Fieldy didn't say much signing my SYOTOS poster, David the obvious hot one just looked up and said "you just want to get to Munky, don't you?" which was exactly right. No bragging here because internet popularity is stupid but I actually won favourite poster on the Korn forum I think 4 years in a row. Made some really good IRL go out for drinks and concerts friends from there. Even a guy from Perth we hung out with when he came to London. Nice community.

I absolutely love music and listen to a really wide range of stuff from nu metal to Olivia Rodrigo and t swift. I listen to a lot of chevelle and breaking Benjamin and twenty one pilots. But I would never travel like you did, especially to Bakersfield, to see a band. My wife and I saw Ingrid Michaelson a bunch of times but the farthest we drove was 2 hours.

You’re originally British, right? Maybe you can sneak back into the country try and get that free 150 k for a new house

We just drove 6 hours to Osheaga music festival in Montreal and was worth it.

I'm an American citizen since March, I don't think I could quite style that out if I tried. And dammit, already have a mortgage.

It was my first time visiting California going to see them. Spent some time in Long Beach and LA, it was a nice trip, even down to the Greyhound journey from Long Beach to Bakersfield reading a book or looking out at the CA scenery. Bakersfield doesn't smell like it did back then.

Now now, the liberals on this forum have repeatedly dismissed this as the reason for why they let millions of undocumented immigrants into the country every year. It's because they're humanitarians, not because they want future left wing voters.

Well, congrats on the citizenship

Smashing pumpkins is the o ly one I would want to see it know well enough to see. My favorite band during the 90s. But I am glad you had a good time.

They aren't being put in front of citizens. The program already applies to citizens.

I first saw them in January ‘96 at the Academy in NYC, a small venue they were using to warm up before they were doing much larger shows for Mellon collie.

I gotta say though, Green Day blew them away in Montreal.

When illegal immigrants are being given the equal rights of citizens, it is an issue. If this was available to all citizens equally, why is homelessness at such high levels in the state? In cali and other states and large cities, the illegals are catered to. They are given housing, including schools in nyc until housing is found for them while homeless Americans are left out in the cold-literally. Illegals are eating up budgets and benefits at ridiculous levels when that funding could be increased to help our own people. That’s what our taxes are paying for? Disgusting

The goal of the Democrats is Authoritarian power. They are Big Government Marxist. They cannot achieve that with the current population of the U.S.A., but they can with a bunch of new voters from Socialist countries that want hand outs.

The Democrats have been lying for decades... the truth is finally coming out now that they think they have enough power. They are the tyrants we said they were.
