Social California changes rules for high school athletics with trans competitors

And? My daughter couldn’t even make the team and cried her ass off, life ain’t fair, compete against the boys.
You are so full of shit. You do not have a daughter that is in that situation.

If it's true, let's see a pic of her crying. I want to see it. That poor daughter.

Nah you are totally full of shit.

I said my daughter couldn’t make the team, much less compete at the highest level, she isn’t in that situation, but her close friend is.

The people that support men playing in women's sports don't have children.
It is amazing that leftists, who tend to be mentally ill and have no real family for their own, continuously weasel their way to be in charge of other people's children.

You are 100% full of shit, like I suspected you were.

Dude, this shit isn't even on the radar. The fact that you take time to think about is sad.

Well it's a step in the right direction but it's still a joke.

Also doesn't touch on women losing out on potential scholarship money to men.

For the love of God, just make a trans division/league/category and move the hell on.
I think the fact that there isn't just shows how few of them there are. Trans people are a tiny fraction of the population and the ones who participate in sports are likely a small fraction of that. I don't know what the fairest solution is but at the high school level in particular, this seems like a somewhat decent compromise even if it does sound silly in a way. It's got to be better than barring them from competition, forcing them to compete against guys while they are still trying to affirm their identity, or having to provide all the same resources (like coaches) for competitions with (perhaps) only a few participants where everyone gets a medal and no one is pushed to excel.

Having said all that, I think the only reason such a big deal is made of their participation in sports in the first place is as a way to conflate this specific one issue with the existence of trans people in general as being some sort of awful scourge on society that should be eliminated.

I don't love the solution, but I also hate policing sports from the federal level, so I'm okay with the league deciding what they want.

But I would be against this the same way I wouldn't give a religious kid a make-up day and medal to participate because the competition was held on the Sabbath.

I have five kids and you’re childless, you have no skin in the game.
I have an adult son. He is living a good life. I have skin, blood, and soul in the game.

Five kids? I hope you haven't instilled the hatred in them that you hold in your heart.

Sounds Ike a decent compromise.

The first place biological girl wins a gold medal.

The person with the fastest time gets a medal.

OK Fm, but "person" Medal should say, "Given For Nutless & Cheating Cowardice."

Y'all know that's clear from Jon LEGACY Jones' Gift of Gane HW belt.

Honestly not a terrible compromise for individual sports like track, swimming, etc. Hell even wrestling could work.

But how would this work for team sports? Just one they/them on a girls soccer/basketball/lacrosse etc. team would be an unfair advantage and it's not practical to do separate playoffs for every impacted team of biological girls.

NAGA updated their transgender policy almost two years ago and it requires all competitors to compete based on biological sex at birth. To me that's just common sense.

You think competitions consisting of only males is fair?

Nope and neither do most sports rulesets. The "male" division is actually the open division. Any woman who plays better than the best men would be welcome on most "men's" teams.
