Grow up, the proof is in 1000's of societies around the world. I get it, you want to ignore whats right in front of your face, thats why we have madenss everywhere in every country right now.

They've made you believe everything is fine....It IS NOT FINE.... Time to grow a pair and start standing up for obvious things.... YES HAVING A FULL FAMILY IS A GOOD THING...... Yes single moms with 5 kids by 5 dads have a harder time creating good people.

its so dumb that a man of his age and accomplishments with a family and all would have never made a decision like that.

its kind of crazy where life can take people. what can happen in the moment beyond our control.

as insane as cains response was- it was entirely human and he needs help. prison system is for people beyond help.

I'll wager June 14th he's out to meet the state mandated release schedule, he will quietly slide into "house arrest" and finish his sentence in the community as whats considered ultra low risk.

Except his sentence was not 1 year- Cain got 5 years, and received time served for his 8 months in jail as well as the time he was in home detention. What he has left before he can parole is about 1 year minimum; he would still be getting time off for good behavior- otherwise he would have to do more than a year. It's only been 3 years since he went to jail.

I'm not sure what you are talking about as far as the state paroling after a year. I worked for CDCR for many years; they won't parole you after a year unless your sentence dictates that release time. Cain has a 5 year sentence.

I think it was combination of his 1 year or so of sitting in prison, plus good behavior during that time, also completing some counseling, and in general stayed out of trouble and was working. He was able to show the judge this was a horrible lapse of judgement in a trying time and he is generally remorseful for what his actions.

I don't believe he would meet criteria- also, they would have to ask for that and be granted at the sentencing hearing.

Eligibility criteria for post-trial home confinement:
  • Sentence length: Typically reserved for those sentenced to county jail (not state prison). Cain has a prison sentence
  • Risk factors: Low‑risk, non‑violent offenders; not repeat serious or violent felons. Cain has a violent offense
  • Residence requirement: Must have a verifiable home in the county (or contiguous area) and phone access.
  • Financial ability: Must agree to pay monitoring fees (often on a sliding scale)
  • Special cases: Defendants with serious medical conditions or disabilities may still qualify if they can comply with monitoring rules

You have anecdotes and examples. This is not proof - as someone says later this is not necessarily a bad thing. Many people come from families of divorce, with parents who die and with family members who travel for work extensively. People remarry as well, and kids end up fine or better off.

People end up bad with fully nuclear families as well. You can have the best situation and it means nothing or the worst and it motivates you or is just enough.

Don't dismiss people or judge them on a single statistic because you're on some crusade to belittle people you don't know.

Be better (but I assume I'm asking too much)

honestly, Sounds a lot like my life. I only made amends with my estranged dad because i found out he had another son and I wanted to be a part of my younger brothers life so I chose to leave it in the past with pops. lifes too short.
 
Big support to any vigilantes out there. Anyone who has ever been the victim of a crime knows how worthless cops and courts are. The only justice you ever get is the kind you take with your own hands. Not that I condone violence. Be peaceful and respectful. But good for Cain. Hope he’s paroled at the earliest date.

You be better, look at the real life numbers and you'll see the truth without crying a river on the internet, 20 years in the prison systems and violent crime is above 85% single parent homes, the worst offenders are higher then that.

Hold people accountable, birth control was the biggest discovery of the 1900-1999

They will qualify because once the mandiated number has not been met the rules loosen to "best fit" criteria.

Make no mistake and hold me accountable, but check on June 14th where he is.
 
Suerenos will fuck off that court date for Cain. Will have him holding the knives for them and then drop a kite on him to the screws to get his cell raided.

In the California department of corrections no one fucks you over more then your own race.

He has a state prison sentence. He will be at 80% of his time after serving one year, which is when a violent felon with good behavior may parole. Unless you know something the rest of us don't about the deal they worked out? Where is June 14th identified as a significant date? Let us outsiders in.
