No Stipe never rapes Cain. Same JDS that Cain pounded went on to beat Stipe. So I don't know where you pulled that one from.

Fedor was 34 lol. It's just that Bigfoot ain't Lindland, HMC, Rogers, or even Timmy.

Cowboy is 36 and in title contention at fucking LW ffs...with like 50 fights.

Fedor went to complete shit at 33 with no real injuries. Never got back in contention again.

Cain took on Francis at 36 after multiple, documented injuries and surgeries and off a damn near 3 year layoff.

Cain is just horrible to watch. Sloppy, cage-grinding flabbiness. JDS's KO on Cain is better than both of Cain's wins against JDS combined.
 
He's the best at getting injured during training and following that up by averaging .5 fights a year over his career.
 
Prime Cain was immensely impressive to watch, and you couldn’t argue with the results. But there’s simply not enough data to warrant calling him the greatest. It’s not even enough to be sure he was the best, either — we’ve had some similar powerful streaks happen until people finally figured out the fatal flaw of a fighter, at a career point of more fights than Cain has even had till now.

I wonder, too, if his style — working as it does by overwhelming his opponent in a domineering fashion —- tends to encourage a bias in considering him the best evah. It’s a lot more viscerally “grabby” than those that succeed by good game planning or other, subtler skills.

Cain will always be a what could have been. If Stipe beats DC in there rematch, Stipe will definitely have surpassed him. More title wins

Fedor had many injuries, it was and is just something he doest make known or use as an excuse. He can't grapple now because of his body being shot. Consider he went 9.5 years in mma.. Actually longer as his one loss in rings was not even a loss, it was a NC, but being it was a tourney, and he couldn't continue with the cut that had opened up due to an illegal blow... They let the other guy move on.. At the same time went 8 years in combat sambo with no loss racking up 11 gold medals. If you ever watched prime Fedor.. His grappling was top notch. His takedowns were top notch, his reversals were top notch, his subs and sub def were top notch. He had speed to spare and ko power in both hands. He had the best transitions for a hw ever... Still to this day, and his ground and pound was also the best ever. He was a complete.. Well rounded fighter that had hw power and lhw speed and quickness. He was the complete package and had no weaknesses. Cain was no where near the fighter Fedor was. People who know shit, and just see the headhunter Fedor we see now with the suspect chin... Judge him based on what he is now. What he is now is not even 1 /10th of what he was. Take away gsp or bones wrestling and tdd.. Thats what you would get with them too. While his injuries weren't publisized, and he always kept his personal affairs personal.. His body is shot, his back, his neck(which suffered a cracked vertebrae when slammed by Randleman on his head).. Broken hands left and right.. Knee issues... Its just shot. Fedor just never used excused.. In a way never had to cause he didn't lose until his body had betrayed him. Cain is but a small mark on the hw dulivision history with a huge what if... Fedor has records thst will never be broken, because he was that good and he did it in the hardest division by far to do it in. The most dangerous division to fight in.. Jon, gsp, a silva.. And all or any other goat candidates will say this.. Hw us the king of divisions..for a reason.

He was 30.

Cain's pro debut was against tougher competition.

And no he didn't have close to the documented injuries of Cain.

Because pride folded and the UFC could not make competetive offers. He went on to wreck the best the UFC had to offer. He had plenty of injuries but cain probably have him beat in that department.

You people question why Fedor fell out of His prime in his early thirtees. Seems to me that is more natural then being able to fight into your 40s.

he really was the best for a bit but that was a long time ago. it's almost like a miracle to see him fight nowadays.

Cowboy is 36 and about to fight for the belt in a far deeper weight class where speed and reflexes are more important.
