Haque 1,000 to win 834
Barry 500 to win 500
Stewart + Blair 650 to win 505
+838. CW continues to be profitable. Barry was a lil forced. I'm glad I put a full unit on Haque last minute, wish I did the same with that lock multy. Good start to 2023 after a rough Rizin in 2022.

Happy New year to all you legends.

The weigh-ins for Cage Warriors’ first show of 2023 went off without a hitch at California’s first and luckiest casino – the Sycuan Casino Resort – this morning, with all twelve athletes hitting their marks comfortably.

Despite taking the bout on just over a week’s notice, Johnny Campbell made the 136lb bantamweight limit for his grudge match with Wilson Reis (135.5lbs); the pair will be looking to settle some bad blood in the evening’s main event on Friday night.

Elsewhere on the card, John De Jesus (144.8lbs) and Robert Hernandez (144.9lbs) both came in a fraction under 145lbs for their highly anticipated featherweight encounter.

Shawn Johnson, who has competed from featherweight down to flyweight, looked comfortable on the scales at 143.3lbs for his clash with San Diego fan favourite Damon Wilson (144.9lbs).

Full weigh-in results for the sold-out CW 149, which will air live on UFC Fight Pass from 7pm (PT) are as follows:

Cage Warriors 149: San Diego

Bantamweight: Johnny Campbell (136lbs) vs Wilson Reis (135.5lbs)
Lightweight: Georgii Eivas (155.4lbs) vs Jamey Lynch (155.8lbs)
Featherweight: Shawn Johnson (143.3lbs) vs Damon Wilson (144.9lbs)
Featherweight: John De Jesus (144.8lbs) vs Robert Hernandez (144.9lbs)
Lightweight: Alberto Romo (155.4lbs) vs Alex Trinidad (155.3lbs)
Welterweight: Blake Perry (170.6lbs) vs Joshua Nakagawa (170.7lbs)

Co-main event:

Georgii Eivas is late notice replacement (replacing Guilherme Santos), he got notice Monday February 27 at 2 pm eastern for his Friday March 3 fight at 11 pm eastern vs San Diego's J Lynch

Russia: Georgii Eivas, age 26, 5'10" height, 147th ranked worldwide Lightweight (trains 484 miles away in California)
United States: J Lynch, age 32, 5'11" height, 335th ranked worldwide Lightweight (born 120 miles away in California, lives in San Diego where event is)

And now, it is time for me to feature a fighter on the card for absolutely no reason:

Georgii Eivas

Came on here to say it. Shame about massive short notice, no brainer at these odds. Expect to wake up tomorrow to a much narrower line.

What do you think about Campbell vs Reis? I have a hard time seeing how Reis is a 3 to 1 favorite
I feel like there is a bit of value, Campbell is gritty, hard to sub, and throws hard. Reis chinny. There are a few fights where Campbell is getting controlled I just decided to pass.

Eivas down to the +138 - +140 range now. GL!

Hit Roberto Hernandez +170 dog

they almost robbed him. He clearly won R1 and R3. Fuck that one judge.
