Honestly, I hope the UFC goes bankrupt. With the ESPN deal ending this year and talks with Netflix underway, I really hope they fail to close a deal with any platform. The unchecked greed of the pink goof has led to a string of garbage events lately. Maybe a total collapse is what it takes for a real reset ... a chance to reevaluate everything and rebuild from scratch into something better for the fans

But nah, I get you... The sport really has become stale. But they market enough bullshit and create enough hype to get the big contracts... so it works for them.
The sport benefits from being 'badass', or a tough guy sport... so all they have to do is put BS rankings in front of names to get casual fans excited.

It will likely stagnate and get stale in about 10 years though. The Pink goof doesn't know how to create new stars.

They really tried to put the company on unstable guys like Izzy, Colby, and O'Malley. Dana just doesn't know better since he is a volatile wife-beating kinda guy himself. No hate... just calling it like it is.

End of the day, Dana White did bring the sport to where it is today.. but the world has changed, and he still uses the same old overhype marketing strategy and calling people who disagree with him stupid.

They’re not interested in the best vs best, they’re only in favor of mediocre trendy hypejobs, they manipulate title paths and overvalue subpar fighters from markets the greedily covet, rankings don’t mean shit, it’s all become a clown show.


At this point I’m all in favor of blowing it all up and running the org like a legitimate sports league.

According to the UFC's bottom line they are doing everything right.

They can't make every fan happy.

I will say in the past the UFC seemed to hold a iron fist over the fighters much more larger than they currently do. In no point of time has the UFC seem to have a harder time getting matches signed than they have over the last few years. I think some of this is what is effecting some of these poor cards. But the truth is many hardcore fans that followed the UFC for many many years are probably just not as much invested as they where 10 years or 15 years ago. Which is fine, they attract new fans all the time. But instead of fans looking in the mirror, they blame everything else and this is probably 90% of what is going on with most long time fans minds. I know I'm in that department.

Fighters nowadays just care about posting on IG and making a crap podcast. They dont like to train anymore and all act like divas. Everyone is just lazy and pull out of fights bc they didnt train at all. Champs just go on a sabatical year leave to make interviews and post sh** on social media promoting themselves with the belt. We had 1 warrior left and now even Alex became an influencer and looked as happy as ever to have lost the belt and become a full time content creator. It became a joke. Not 1 single exciting fight in sight. Mma is dead…
