I like watching Harden play. He is a great scorer and over the past few years developed more of a rounded game with an emphasis on scoring.

Maybe not early on but he's making good money now. Guy has made over $700K for his last 5 fights not counting Reebok, fight week incentive pay and whatever other bones the UFC tossed to him. And those 5 fights all came within 1 calendar from last November to this August.

He just bought a brand new BMW within the last 2 months.

The tax rate is progressive, meaning the more he makes the higher the percentage owed. And he has to pay state and local taxes in every location he fights and earns money in. What do you think the federal tax rate, with no withholding to offset against , is on $700,000k? There’s also additional Medicare tax for earned income above $200,000 as well.

You're a delivery driver and you use your own car for work purposes. So that entitles you to write off your gas, mileage and maintenance brought on by your work. Then when you do your taxes whatever you owe them minus your expenses from it.

Utter bullshit, i work for the IRS bro as a supervisory tax examiner technician in Atlanta, you’re not schooling anyone. They do not “get that money back” they reduce their gross receipts by that amount, then pay taxes on the net amount, but are also responsible for the full social security and Medicare tax portions, also known as self employment tax.
Social security taxes cutoff at about $107,000, but Medicare is still charged on amounts above that. There also additional Medicare tax on earnings above roughly $200k. Then he has to file a state return in any stare he’s worked in that charge income taxes and states use your federal AGI to start with, have much smaller deductions and in some cases have much higher tax rates, see NY and California.
I could go on but I’d have to charge you. Stick to barely knowing about MMA.
