News Broner vs Cobbs June 7th Don King PPV

bye bye broner.

he could very well be the most overrated fighter of our era.

Broner has such a low output he was good at 135. By the time he reached welterweight he wasn't nearly the same. Broner was knocked down hard in the second and lost a tooth.

Cobb could probably be used as an opponent again and go on from there. If they had bigger fights in Canada I'd love to see him have a fight there but it's mostly casino shows since beterbiev is the only one that can sell out an arena and he's going to be fighting in Saudi.

Cobb is better off on probox

I was thinking the same thing, but actually more like one of the most overrated fighters in boxing history.

"He's so talented though!"

{<jordan}

I'll remember Broner fondly for his "side piece"argument with Paulie, and getting his shit pushed in by Maidana. Good times, but yeah, he can fuck off now.

Broner looked pretty good in his earlier days and at 135, beat some solid opposition then of course seemed to go down hill from Maidana. The fact Broner is now losing to Cobbs would seem Broner is finished. 3 fights in like 5 years too.. He looked out of shape, unmotivated and slow. He has had many chances to prove he's serious again and ready to complete but this showed his career his on the decline.

I believe the kid had real talent but he couldn't shake off his life style outside of the ring and legal troubles. He believed in his own hype and thought he could just walk through guys without putting in the work.

He probably fights again because I think he's blew all his money he made in boxing. His best hope is Jake Paul or some youtuber to make some big money.

i can't stand broner, but he did win a world championship in 4 different weight classes.

he's an absolute cunt, a waste of talent and a bad look for boxers in general... but he did achieve a whole lot. look up the list of other people who were champs in 4 weight divisions. it's nothing but legends.

broner looked way bigger than cobbs like he sat in the sauna for a weekend to make weight

as i recall, the media always made it to believe he had a chance vs the great fighters.
But he always lost. everytime. i can't even count how many times he was hyped up, but lost.

i mean he beat malinaggi by split dec., but really lost to everyone else of note.

He is a world champion in 4 different weight classes. This is true.

He's also a world champion in 4 different weight classes without a marquee win.

Whenever I see Broner's name, this legendary image pops up in my head:

I'll never understand why people think this picture is embarrassing.

Dude took a world class grade A ass whipping and never for a moment gave up or got finished. A lot of posters favorite fighter wishes they had that much heart

It's embarrassing because of the way he disrespected Maidana, and then walked out like a bitch.

whether he won titles, had a lot of heart for not giving up, blah blah blah…

at the end, broner will forever be known, until eternity, as maidana’s bitch.

i saw this article about Broner a little while back.
do they have a point or is this just clickbait?

but he took his beating like a man and kept trying to win.

broner thinks he's better than he really is, that pretty much sums up his career. he talked a lot of shit and acted like a god damn fool in the maidana fight, but when the tide turned and he started to take a beating, at least he didn't look for a way out. i don't think we should mock fighters for getting their ass kicked, it's part of the sport.

he lacks the IQ, but not the heart. i'm far from a fan of his, but i can respect him for that, at least.

See, i'm not like that. I have more respect for fighters that quit but were/are respectable to their opponent, than ass clowns like Broner who think everyone should worship at their feet, and get beat until the final bell.

Quit or no quit, Broner is a piece of shit, and he got embarrassed like a bitch. Maybe that's just me though, and if it is, i'm ok with it.
