all of his fights were in the ufc and against top contenders
if you look at all the HW fighters records in the ufc except ( JDS-stipe-cormier-cain ) all the fighters have this type of record
if brock fought the likes of roy nelson,arlovski,rothwell,schaub,gonzaga,nougeira,kongo etc
he would have a better record but the ufc only wanted to put him against the best to sell ppvs
they wanted him to fight cain,jds,ubereem in their primes in one year for god's sake.

The drug thing is a legit knock but Brock Lesnar was a true mauler and one of the best athletes to ever fight in the octagon. People forget just how freaky quick he was at 265. It's also overlooked that he started losing AFTER he got the diverticulitis. That shit noticeable robbed him of a noticeable amount of his athletic gifts. He just didn't move the same way anymore and shots to the body killed him.

The OPs point holds, had he gone and trained under Randy or someone right out of college, he'd be an all time great....if not the all time great.

He does lose a lot of points for the penis tat though.

so? he was always old in the sport he got in it when he was 36 but he won many titles.when brock beat him is it because of age?

what rust are you talking about when he got ko'ed in round 2 and it was competive in some parts of the fight ?
when he beat tim sylvia he was out for 13 months too and he had more experience than brock
brock beat him after 18 months of his first fight.

Sylvia is up there for underrated champions but imo Bendo is the most underrated guy. Fought the best the division had, fought consistently and showed heart. Close fights certainly but blame the judges for the decisions not the fighters
