Damn, hated myself for saying that (considering how bad I wanted to see her lose), but Mr. Clean was right. Honda sells tickets. Her psychotic episodes and balls to the wall, fight attitude....really was exciting. WMMA was fun to watch with Honda dominating. Now it's just taking turns for holding the belt.

I think that's why Cyborg didn't say much about the 135 belt after her UFC debut....Mr. Clean paid her some decent money to stay in Invicta forever and STFU in order to sooth Honda's fragile nerves so she'd squeeze back in for the future ticket sales.

Yeah Rousey losing and no longer fighting was always going to be very detrimental to WBW. Holm, Tate, etc. are just not compelling enough fighters to maintain what she started.

I think its's pretty clear if Ronda took her time and didn't bum rush Holly she would have a good chance of winning. Her ground game is better then everyone she's faced and her takedown defense is horrible. I'd rather watch Ronda smash contenders in a minute then watch the title change hands a million times and they call it "a stacked competitive division".
