Cop was a condescending asshat. I could see why Jones was upset. Schaub has a point about how that cop wouldn't talk to Jones like that in another setting, and I think that's an important observation.

Shouldn't a cop treat a person who is pulled over (especially for some really minor traffic BS) with the same respect and dignity we treat each other with on a daily basis? What about the traffic stop situation causes the cop to want to act condescending? Who does the cop work for? Important questions.

Jon doesn't get a pass if he broke the law. He should get his day in court, however, and the officer shouldn't get a pass for being disrespectful for no good reason whatsoever.

It depends. If the cops account is to be believed and jones revved up and tore off cutting lanes driving like a real ass, then I have no issue with a cop getting gruff to make his point clear. Neither of us know what really happened but I find it funny how many people willingly accept Jones version of events given Jones track record

Well, he was pulled over for something according to the cop, but yeah, you can get stopped on foot or pulled over for just about anything around here. I had a cop tell me he could give me a PI for kicking a beer can on the sidewalk.

I actually like Shaub on the fight companions for the most part and think the hate is a bit extreme but sherdog is more hate than love.
