You people have so much hate in your hearts. sure he was a subpar fighter but what he's done beyond that I'm sure 90% of the people hating on him won't ever achieve 10% of what he accomplished with he's brand, name and status. I'm the first to give cops shit for power tripping but Jones just handled the situation poorly from top to bottom and all it highlight was how immature he still is even after all that he's been through.

This isn't binary. The cop being an asshole doesn't mean that Jones is some misunderstood angel. Nor is the reverse true.

Thank YOU! Finally a grounded opinion of the situation. Jones IS immature and makes some bone headed decisions. But the attempt to take those immature, bone headed decisions, the sort that plague the vast majority of adolescents and young adults in this country, and paint them as indicative of him being a terrible person are fucking pathetic. The judge's decision in this matter was impeccable. He addressed everything that needed handling succinctly and made a call that might well save Jones and the state both from further inconvenience. People seriously want Jones to go to prison, and that's ludicrous. If anything, it's an indictment on THEIR characters, and possibly indicative of THEIR failings as decent human beings, going far beyond typical schadenfreude into something dangerously, sickeningly malicious. Thank god NONE of them matter.

Cop was a condescending asshat. I could see why Jones was upset. Schaub has a point about how that cop wouldn't talk to Jones like that in another setting, and I think that's an important observation.

Shouldn't a cop treat a person who is pulled over (especially for some really minor traffic BS) with the same respect and dignity we treat each other with on a daily basis? What about the traffic stop situation causes the cop to want to act condescending? Who does the cop work for? Important questions.

Jon doesn't get a pass if he broke the law. He should get his day in court, however, and the officer shouldn't get a pass for being disrespectful for no good reason whatsoever.

Ya dude he is on probation for hit and run on a pregnant woman. Then has 2 run ins with the cops while driving. The first one was doing 75 in a 35. He is out now as of this morning they could have easily decided that 40 mph over and drag racing was violation of his parole and made him serve full sentence on the hit and run. They are going easy on him. If I had done all that I guarantee I would be in prison somewhere.

I think Schaub is kinda dumb but I agree with a bit of what he said. I definitely think the cop chose to make things hard on Jones. Giving him 5 tickets right away (before what we saw on the body cam footage happened) seems crazy... but we didn't see the incident so we can't really know who was in the wrong. I don't like how Schaub played the race card that quickly and I don't like how everything is black and white (pun boom) with Schaub. There are shades of grey in this world. One guy isn't 100% right and the other 100% wrong in every situation.

1) Saying lets see the cop act so tough in a cage alone with JJ is about the dumbest shit I've ever heard in my life. So if a guy can beat you up then the police should leave you alone.

2) The cop was actually not that big of a dick, LAPD are way worse.

3) Saying Jones has a fight soon and the cop should just leave him alone...another retarded argument.

I'm 31 years old...not really old but I've seen enough shit in my life to know whenever a person says a cop was out to get them 99% of the times its just the person who doesnt know how to behave around police. That cop could have easily crossed the line and asked to search Jones' car and cause trouble for JJ.

You guys are DELUSIONAL if you think that cop was an unusually mean prick and JJ did nothing wrong. BTW, I'm a JJ fan.
