I agree the confirmed numbers in China are shit. I just don't think its too far fetched to believe countries like ours with many fat sick people have higher death rates.
Look at Japan as an example, my Brother in law lives there. He said they purposely dont test, but that its likely spread through far more peopel than the figures show. Yet a really low death toll. Why is that? the obvious conclusion is far less fat sick people.

I agree that its not suprising America is higher than China. But to accept that China is has one of the lowest deaths per capita in the entire world, when they had all the cards stacked against them, is just an affront to reason. We can either believe that despite the virus having a two month headstart in which scientists knew almost nothing about it, including that it was contagious, that China managed to localize the disease to just a few small regions of the country, despite it escaping to places all over the world outside of China during this time, or we can conclude that they are lying. We know for a fact that they have threatened to arrest doctors speaking to each other internally about the disease, and have silenced journalists who wrote about it. We know that the test kits they have sent elsewhere in the world were faulty to the point the receiving countries abandoned them. I just can't buy it. I don't like to rely on Occam's Razor, but here it just plainly says China is lying about the disease.

This isn't true, or rather important, relative to ordinary treatments. Of course, the US has the best technology and highest level of medical institutions. But you don't need cutting edge technology to deal with the virus. China has universal coverage and allocated massive funds to getting citizens those health services.

Countries like China and Cuba absolutely have lower infection rates and likely have lower death rates as well.

I haven't said anything to disagree with that. I know their numbers are pure BS. I've been saying it all along.

I just don't think its too far fetched to see why western nations are suffering more with deaths. Especially the US.

I am fucking positive their official figures are out, but the virus doesn't plough through healthy and or skinny people anywhere in the world I can find.

It preys on elderly and sick people, especially elderly overweight people

China : 5-6%
UK : % of people Obese of 60 and over is over 35%
US : anywhere between 39.8% & 44%(gets even higher for African Americans), and they're bearing the brunt of deaths as far as i can tell?
Diabetes
China : cannot find any data
UK : 4 million
US : 34.2 million

I'm going to throw out an unpopular opinion here.
The US, UK, Spain and France have a lot of overweight elderly people who are sick. This virus thrives in this environment and does it work.
