He was about to lose like 50-45 and needed that Hail Mary and it's still one of the worst stoppages ever that never should've happened. Even Dan admitted he fucked up that stoppage.

He's always been overhyped. Top 15ish sure, but nobody should really be losing sleep over this given he's already fought everybody. He's not some prospect we haven't seen enough of.

It's a five round for a reason. No one discredits Android Silva subing Sonnen or Leon over Usman after getting 50-45ed, but why the double standard?

He's good enough to stick around. He only lost to the best of the best. The prospect who is 14-1 in UFC now is in there. Rozen just beat him a little while ago. Rozen is better. He deserves to stay, especially with contract still not expired, I mean wtf.

Did you watch the Leon vs Usman rematch? Usman was not on his way to 50-45 over Leon. Leon won the first round and almost subbed Usman with a RNC and would've had it if he had a couple more seconds. That's why the remainder of the fight Usman stopped fighting and just tried to wrestle. Leon knocking out Usman was just poetic justice for Usman trying to stall his way to victory.

Sorry, I guess 49-46 lol. Been a while. That fight is not something much worth rewatching other than the last minute.

I agree. That's what I'm saying. The other sherbro was trying to discredit come-from-behind-finish. Thus the example.

I'm with you.
Something just didn't sit right with me because most people forget the 1st round in their rematch. All they remember and the narrative is the hail Mary HK.

Like I said after that first round Usman abandoned any idea of actually trying to fight Leon and just tried to wrestle-stall Leon for the rest of the fight.

Leon is just boring, I just think that might be why lol.

Usman was looking dominant until he wasn't. Wish we saw prime colby vs leon but oh well i guess we can't have it all I suppose.

Yeah. I'm a Leon fan I can admit that he played it really safe in the UFC.

Yeah he's really good though. I don't know if he was really impacted by the morning fight against Belal or Belal improved that much.

I just hope he doesn't try to lay on JDM for five rounds. It's back home right? So hopefully he comes to fight. He's a good striker, but he likes to fight safe so I'd reckon he gonna try to wrestle, but we will see.

I would be surprised if it isn't real boring if Leon wins..

Yeah it's in the UK. I'm hoping that Leon can show off his MT skills finally now that he's been champ. He needs to be exciting before he gets another TS.

"Gasiev" quit on the stool from being too fat. I was in the PBP while watching, the overarching feeling was that the fight was terrible.
 
Wasn't really a big fan of his, so it doesn't phase me much. But I wish him well. In whatever he does.
 
Judging by his tweet doesn't sound like he got a warning or anything the hw division is fucked.. and they cut an actually descent hw.. who's Ben in the top 5 for ever..

Yeah instead of the guy falling down to top 15 or 20 and testing out the up and comers.. they just cut him ..
