Also, this material seems to be classified material from the Russian government, not classified from America, as per this line:

"incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia"

i.e. nothing suggests that it was classified information from the American government, which would make this even less of a nothing burger.

It doesn't fucking matter if it's classified or not if the information came from an agent of a foreign power.

It could have been a drawing of Hillary's vagina, but the act alone is what's incriminating, not the information.

We're not at war with Russia so it's not treason. If there is a criminal act, it's a lesser charge.

Also, Trump wasn't president when this happened so impeachment or removal from office isn't likely.

Lol

Trump gets called "daddy" or "lord" or something similar at least a few times a week here. Many, many people openly welcome his authoritarianism.
Treason is not defined by "at war" status.Be more clueless.

Treason is a breach of allegiance and of the faithful support a citizen owes to the sovereignty within which he lives.

And it's antithetical to our values

How do you figure that?

The charges and claims always start out big and fantastical but in a vague sense. E everyone starts drawing conclusions and creating narratives based on innuendo, insinuation, and "smoke" but no actual facts or evidence. Then the actual details come out showing it to be a big ol nothing burger.

This happened with narratives surrounding Sessions, Flynn, Comey, and the entire Russia collusion story as a whole.

Logan Act

LOL!!! He wasn't some "patriot" getting valuable info for the FBI..No ones buying that bullshit.
Let's say the information verified pizza-gate 100% (not saying it was, but hypothetically). Russians say, "Hey Donald Trump Jr, we got information saying that pizza gate was 100% real and Hillary Clinton was involved.

Is it illegal to accept that information? What would any sane politician do? What would any moral politician do?

You guys see Trump and Russia in the same sentence and throw fits every single time.

This. Replacing Trump with Pence is like replacing Jar Jar Binks with Emperor Palpatine.

I think the ultimate goal of the people trying to oust Trump would be to have the entire election voided and redone with a new republican candidate against that nasty old bag the democrats would inevitably choose.

So accepting information from a government that might hurt your political opponent is illegal?

Special counsel plans to examine Trump JR. emails and meeting! Sen. Whitehouse on emails: it " clearly shows intent to collude".

...this is part of the entire Russia collusion story as a whole. It's an ongoing investigation that keeps going deeper and deeper.

Just months ago, the Trump administration claimed to have zero interaction with the Russians. That turned out to be a blatant lie. The email literally says that the Russian government is offering to help Trump.

The fact that you don't see this as significant is mind boggling.

And it's antithetical to our values

What values are those?

I am almost hoping Russia gets sick of our slander and just bombs us. Russia is demonized in our media EVERY DAY, every hour.

Perhaps you've been in a coma for the past year, so allow me to explain.

For months now the Trump clan and it's many associates have been accused of colluding with the Russian government (which is more anti america than Obama was).

For as many months they've denied any collusion with Russia let alone CONTACT.

SURE perhaps one Trump person or another remembered being in the same room or had a meeting with a Russian diplomat (I don't blame anyone, my memory has been getting worse with age as well), but all of those meant nothing.

In the meantime, it's been proven beyond reasonable doubt that Russia was responsible for all kinds of shenanigans during the election (and one count of rape that Bill Cosby was falsely accused of).

So now junior literally...using his own words said..."I met with the Russians to get damaging information on Clinton".

Analysis: Donald Trump Jr.’s Russia emails shake the presidency

First the meeting involving Trump Jr., Kushner, and Manafort was exposed by the New York Times , for which we've already been given three different explanations by Trump Jr., and now we have a separate development with these emails concerning the revelation of his intent to collude preceding the meeting.

The subject of this thread is the full text of those emails, not the meeting itself which has its own discrete mega-thread already. Donald Jr. only assented to publish them on Twitter after The New York Times threatened to publish them in full themselves anyway:
Read Donald Trump Jr.'s emails seeking sensitive information about Hillary Clinton from Russia

Here is the full text of those emails:

Crumb by crumb the "fake news" is slowly piecing together the truth, and the shape it's taking is that Trump is a criminal on par with Nixon.

On par with Bernie ' s wife and Hillary too!!

So accepting information from a government that might hurt your political opponent is illegal?

Are you that dull?

It doesn't matter what the intel was.

Meeting in the first place was the problem, not the exchange of information.

Democrats Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi also claimed to have never had contact with Russian agents. Then when proof came out that they actually did, they said "Well it wasn't with bad intentions!". Fortunate for them they weren't under oath when they said that.

So you can't meet with people in other government's when running for president of the US?

What the fuck are you saying?

Can you explain what's crazy here I don't know see what so bad about trying to get damaging info from another country on yournoff political opponent. Is that against the law?
It's that the emails specifically state several times that it's government information, government proxies and that they want to directly help Trump's campaign.
