Brazil crowds are the best...

Awesome, eh? Yeah, I guess as long as the hypernationalistic chants are anything but "USA, USA!" it's cool, right?

Can you read? He said "based," not created. The UFC is based in the United States.

So is KFC, do I have to sing the star-spangled banner each time I tuck into a 3-piece?

You will die chants are taken seriously here huh?

its not a literal wish of death, just saying he's gonna get spanked

its a soccer culture thing.. not our fault american fans in basketball, football, etc are anonymous and don't hellp their teams whatsoever

Are you saying You will die chants are better than USA chants?

What about the lasers? They have energy and passion. But i would notsay the best

Crowd is awesome, downside is fighters can't hear their corners though. Another advantage of the Japanese MMA fans/scene in my opinion. As an American though, it's clear we have the absolute worst and most ignorant fans. Can't stand the booing.

These people butthurt with "you will die" chants must hate people like the "Axe Murderer" and the "Natural Born Killer".

Brazilian crowds only seem to be enthused with the fight when Brazilian fighters are winning. If the Brazilian is losing they get real quite or boo.

You don't really see this in America. The American fans may cheer for their home fighter but if someone like Shogun, Machida, Anderson, or Aldo is kicking ass they will cheer the action.

When Shogun dropped Liddell I swear you could hear a Fly fart in that arena so I'm not sure about that.

And yet here you are watching murica based event, if you had a spine you would follow your noble convictions and stop watching murica based mma, who i am kidding you are epitome of a shertard.

Don't bother. I laughed my ass off at the 10 most valuable sports franchises thread.

When we go to a arena to watch a MMA event, we go TO WATCH A MMA EVENT, we don't fucking care about 'prelims' or 'main' shit... we watch the whole thing.

I agree ... plus the cards are loaded with fighters from Brazil and Brazilians are known for being very aggressive and make for fun fights

thats because america is pretty good/successful at (almost?) everything. So here we oversupport our few champions. probably because our people can be overemotional as well ... because of our latin blood.

just my two cents.

Japanese crowds are the best imo, followed by UK crowds.

There's no "best crowd" in my opinion, everyone just have fun in a different way.
By the way, the "vai morrer" (you are going to die) chants are just for fun, they don't really want the guy to die.. I can assure you 99.9% of people who are chanting that would hug the guy they're targeting and ask for an autograph IRL. It's just the heat of the moment usually supported by their passion for the local fighter. If you can chant something to help your fighter, why wouldn't you do it?!

But if one must be said as "best" it must be japan. There's nothing like the silence followed by those "OHHHHHHHHH" and the commentator going insane 24/7 when the action happens!! "BOBEH SAPPEEEEEEEEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "VANDERAY SHYVAH"

First time in Sao Paulo since 10years ago Wand vs Belfort fight.
ps: they regret doing the event in January in Sao Paulo, everyone is travelling around on vacation and they didn't even sold out the arena (expensive as fuck tickets...).

brazil has my least favorite crowd. japan has my favorite. america and canada are somewhere in between

I hate the Brazil crowds. Supporting your homeboy is fine, really, but the booing of EVERYTHING (10 seconds without action, an interview done in English, a local in Nunes getting dominated) gets annoying after a while.

Brazil crowd is the sucks I think. Boo everyone but the home grown.

Japan is the best. Cheer everyone, roots for anyone that puts on a exciting show.
