I got another question.

The end, when hes tortured, where does that hook start?

Good fun popcorn flick that gets a little to close to schlock at times.

Like with most historical epics, you'd hope it would inspire people to read up upon actual history, but I doubt it does really.

Similar tier to Gladiator and Saving Private Ryan.

If you're referring to the disembowelling, or 'drawing', people usually just say 'hanged, drawn and quartered' but victims were also castrated, between being hanged and drawn.

Why would he throw wives in there...

Watch the movie, asshole
I’ve seen it plenty of times hah. The entire speech was about growing old and wishing you stood up for your freedom, even if it means death. And saying, you may take our wives, but never take our freedom is pretty messed up if you think about it.

His intestines. After he was castrated of course. Then they slowly pull his intestines out “drawing”

Well, someone beat me to it.

One of the most mind blowing theatre experiences I've ever had. I remember leaving the theatre with my jaw dropped down to the floor. Couldn't believe the battle were so realistic. Never seen that before on film with swords.

I know people gripe on this movie historical inaccuracies. Which doesn't bother me, it's pure entertainment and I was highly entertained at that young age and still entertains me just as much now.

Also to add it's rated and 8.3 on IMDB.

Braveheart - (plot summary):

Scotland, 1280. With England oppressed by King Edward I, William Wallace, a charismatic Scottish knight of humble descent, leads a righteous campaign to end tyranny.

In the commander-in-chief's gallant quest for freedom during the First War of Scottish Independence, the mighty warrior and gifted strategist risks life and limb to inspire the hopelessly disorganised Scots, oppressed people thirsting for independence. But blood covers the road to liberty.

Great movie, if it was made today, I think Mel would get cancelled for the scene where Longshanks throws the gay dude out of the window

Mad Mel has been cancelled several times over his comments on Jews, Gays and his ex-wife. Unfortunately for his detractors, Braveheart and POTC won seven Oscars between them, and Mel is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Passion of The Christ was one of the biggest financial successes in recent history, making over $600 Million on a budget of $30 Million. Gibson is working on a sequel, which will probably do huge bank as well.

Gibson, much like JK Rowling, has reached the stage in his career/life when he can afford to give zero fucks.

The best biopic of the infamous Scotch :eek::eek::eek::eek:phile William Wallace (the worst kind of :eek::eek::eek::eek:phile that there is). 7.9/10

Englishman confirmed;)

If you're going to 'go there' and make it about nationality the division is probably more US and Canada / British and Irish.

I voted masterpiece, but it would’ve been cooler if it was filmed in space.

They might as well have been riding dinosaurs on Mars for all the historical accuracy it has.

I have the director's final cut and they hook it through his cock ring and then pull the cock ring out. It doesn't kill him as you know because the ax man at the end but the crowd is visible grossed out that he was into it and came and came and came and came and came and came and came and came and came and came bucket from it. The English leave Scotland after being so grossed out and you know that means something for things to get too gay for the English because they are all closet homos.

I've never seen it and voted no interest because even though I kinda do want to see it, I've gone this long without seeing so maybe I don't actually care.

10. So what about Historical accuracy itcwas epic greatness. If accurate Robert The Bruce was the real hero of Scotland n they sort of set that up at end but they did him a little dirty I admit

Voted masterpiece but i'd prob give it like a 9.3

Don't care about the historical accuracy, its a movie you should take some liberties if it adds to the entertainment.
