Out of curiosity, why?

To mix things up?

I like both guys a lot, but I do enjoy Kai's fights a little more and I think the division needs a shake up. If he gets by Pantoja, there's some really fun style match ups for him in royval and moreno, and I think those are the kind of match ups fans would love and they'd bring some attention to the division.

I always bet against Pantoja so why stop now?

He really hasn't faced many good grapplers or wrestlers other than Ougikubo, who interestingly enough also has a win over Pantoja. Archuleta was a decent wrestler, too, I guess, and kai did well. His athleticism helps him a lot. I'm mostly worried about the back takes of pantoja -- I think that is pantoja's path to victory.

I am going with Pantoja by unanimous decision, but I won't be surprised if Pantoja wins by submission either, he could tap him. Heavily favor Pantoja anyways, I feel he is quite underrated.

Pantoja is underrated for sure.

He is #2 FLW GOAT after Mighty Mouse and it is not even close for a 3rd spot.

I haven't seen enough of either fighter to give a prediction, but I want Asakura to win so I'm hoping he clips Pantoja and finishes him via stoppage. Sounds like it won't be easy though....

I think Pantoja is underrated and under appreciated generally. But this is the first time I’m picking against him this time. Have a feeling Kai will land a big shot once Pantoja starts getting a little too wide with his strikes. Pantoja is the rightful favorite but I kind of feel a changing of the guard in this matchup.

Pantoja by DQ in the 5th. Asakura will hurt pantoja in the latter round,.Pantoja will shoot a takedown and fail. Asakura will ko him with a soccer kick and get DQ
