Congrats to all winners. I hedged but I should have hit Ward even more. It was the plan but I should have done more.

Between the Rig KO and the low blows/stoppage. I think this really shows why boxing is close to flatlining.

I do feel for Kov. Anyone who has boxed knows what low blows can do to you. It can completely sap you and feels like you just want to lay in the fetal position for 10 minutes.
 
Ward is such a dirty fighter. Had a bad feeling when on the one early low blow when Weeks halted the fight he said to Ward, it's okay, you didn't mean to, just try to keep them up. Fuck off. Ward did mean to, he always means to. I would have warned him then and there.

Kovalev did wilt alarmingly but repeated low blows with no recovery time given in the last two rounds were a huge factor. Really disappointing end to the fight. Shame we'll never see them fight each other in Russia.

And only had the draw bet pre-fight, took Ward small in play as the dog but that was bullshit Even after the low blows you don't stop the fight there.

He literally did the worst thing he could have by bending over like that

Not a big boxing guy, but I had 0.5u on Ward 7-12 +2000 and live bets on Ward. Love hitting huge odds like that. Questionable stoppage, though

its instincitve not to go down. we have to see the replay where kov tried to complian but weeks made them continue. there were already two low blows called previolsy in different rounds, a third, that was probably part of andres game plan and team kovalevs fault for not being prepared for it

If Ward ain't the American fighting in America with three American judges and American ref both times, he ain't holding two wins over Krusher.

Kovalev got punked. Have to wonder if ward planned to land low blows all along. Virgil and him were hinting that they were training differently for this one, training for a stoppage etc. The fight was pretty similar to the first except for 7-10 questionable low shots. 3 or 4 of those looked like they effected kovalev before the 8th where ward just started teeing off there once he had the refs permission.

cant jump to conclusions. you have to watch the tape. the two other low blows are not normal but excusable. if andre had three low blows in eight rounds that could be game-planning and only team kovalev is to blame for not retaliating.

im curious to see the last supposed low blow that weeks did not allow kov to recover from. tony had already called two so if he did not have a clear view of kovalevs complaint he shouldve given sergey the benefit of the doubt along with the five minutes. if it wasnt low, a legit ward ko even wiht the two low blows. if it was low...ward is a dirty fighter, a cheat

vargas still complains about the allegedly intentional one trinidad low blow he claims changed the fight
 
i dont know if it was mentioned on the broadcast but Ward was was leading by 1 point on two cards while one judge had Kov up by 3 :o

You cant hit that low without it being on purpose. He was closer to missing him between the legs then it being a legal shot. You can see from his reaction that he thought the ref was going to punish him for it. Stone faces to smiling as soon as he saw the hands waving. Not the look of someone who has scored a KO.

that shot was clearly low but not the one i was referring to. i was referencing the ones prior in the round and in round seven when sergy complained to weeks and tony told them to continue fighting.

if those two shots were on the belt line and legal kov lost and has no complaints. if they were low it couldve changed teh outcome of the fight.

I nearly completely agree with you. But ward still cannot win on that shot. See Jon jones vs matt hammill or Cote vs Sakara.
 
I went out for a change and was drunk at one of South Florida's finest strip clubs with no cell phone signal for live betting but the biggest smile a dude can have when I saw Ward taking over in round 7 and then getting the stoppage in round 8. That has to be the largest win on a single boxing fight ever for me between my huge Ward ML bets, the Ward KO/TKO prop at big odds and a couple of very generously priced under bets. Looks like about $2,000 profit. I love boxing betting!
 
Tailed cr0w for half a unit on ward @ -120. Good work as always sir another 5k weekend
 
Didn't see the fight yet, and hedged off a 2u, but ended up 7u up from boxing/UFC. Ward low blows turned out to not be low?
