Bisping was a bigger dog to Rockhold than Conor to Floyd... In boxing.

Be careful about betting ITD and Floyd KO. Just remember who you are betting on. Floyd has no urgency to finish and will happily coast to a decision....

We arent betting on IF Floyd can finish but if he DOES finish.

yea against professional boxers not a ufc fighter with questionable cardio who usually fights for 10 minutes before getting gassed now we think he can last 36 minutes with one of the best boxers in the world?

I am not expecting to win a popularity contest with choosing Mac decision... It is just about value. It is an unlikely but reasonably possible outcome.

If Mac gets a couple KD then Mayweather is off his game and down on the cards.... IMO it is not likely that Mac finds a clean KO with the big gloves.

At the Ward/Kovalev press conference today Roc Nation President Michael Yormark and Main Events promoter Kathy Duva couldn't resist throwing shade at the "money grab later this summer" and "circus that is taking place in August" when hyping their own fight, lol.

Read Floyd wanted 10oz gloves for this while he normally uses 8, curious about the over as well

Yeah against Pacquiao 8oz gloves were used, but Dana White said that it's a 145 lbs fight so they are gonna use 10oz gloves like they ''usually'' do, wtf?

Is the normal rules for 145 lbs, 8oz or 10oz boxing gloves?

You heard it wrong, Dana said 154 pounds, which is super welterweight, and in Nevada 10 ounce gloves are standard at that weight class. All media are reporting the exact same thing.

Bet my limit on Mayweather itd. Free money imo

Got it at -170

425 to win 250

Will continue to hit this

Will hit the ml as well if it continues to drop

Thought I saw it under 500 but it's back up to 550 on 5 dimes

Also, fwiw, Kovalev and his team stormed out of the press conference this afternoon after making their initial comments. Confidence increase Ward.

I thought you didnt like these kinds of analysis ?

Exactly. Surprised more people haven't made this point. People putting crazy stakes on Floyd ITD because it's 'free money' are just asking to get burned imo. Even with my limited boxing knowledge I know Floyd isn't a killer instinct fighter, he's a highly technical, defensive one. Of course he's capable of finishing Conor but he might want to toy with him for 12 rounds, humiliate him a bit.

I don't take the pop psychology analysis too seriously, like who seems angry or who flinched at the stare down and such, but since I'm on Ward, I'll willingly buy into it just a little. It certainly doesn't annoy me as much as forum boasting, braggadocio and the #elite nonsense.

God I hope the Elite crap never gets in here.

U guys see the will break 4.4 million buys prop? Does it really break it? Are people forgetting how hyped PAC-Mayweather was. I don't think it breaks it

Edit.

Didn't read previous posts on this. And I kinda didn't even think of the ramifications of the UFC buys being separate from the boxing. I think it could break it considering u might get so many UFC fans buying it that didn't order the PAC/Mayeeather shit fight

Also. Floyd will break the Marciano record with a win here. It's kind of a big deal.

Man. I never bet -300 or higher straight. But this could be an exception

I don't think this breaks it because there's no real belief Conor can win. No one seriously (who pays for fights) thinks he can win. Who cares what some random says about giving Conor a shot, he'll watch it at a bar. The people buying PPV's arent paying $100 for this

Despite it being 4-5 years too late many gave Pac a chance, hence driving the buy rate
I really don't think this gets near 4.4M

The lines are absolutely absurd

Mcgregor has never had a pro fight and he's facing one of the greatest boxers of all time. Mac is going to struggle just to land a punch. He gassed in under 15 minutes vs nate Diaz. He got hurt by nate Diaz.

The only way he lasts 12 rounds is if Mayweather takes it easy on him and treats it as a sparring match.

People acting like Floyd doesn't knock people out. If his hands weren't so brittle he would have even more kos on his record.

I'll honestly be surprised if Conor makes it past round 6

I think the betting public disagrees with you there

This is a classic great white hype fight. People hate Mayweather and love Conor.
