The only way he lasts 12 rounds is if Mayweather takes it easy on him and treats it as a sparring match.

People acting like Floyd doesn't knock people out. If his hands weren't so brittle he would have even more kos on his record.

The people betting are idiots betting Conor, again not reflective of the buying public. Everyone who knows anything about this knows how it goes...

Wait until the real bettors come in. you'll see many 6 figure bets on May...There's a reason books haven't budged on 5x more $ on a +600; they know.

You can't bullsh1t the fans. It'll do well but it can't outdo a competitive fight with more build up to it (was 5+ years in the making). 2.5-3.5M

Do they count UK PPV in these numbers? That changes things if they do; I assumed it was North America only

If I had it I would. And that line might get better, which is insane

Mayweather has been knocked down once in his 49 fights, 16 years ago. Mcgregor is going to finish him? He's going to outpoint him? There's no path to victory here for mac. He has about a zero percent chance to win

I would agree that the lines will change and Mayweather will get hammered

I think it's possible it breaks the record. I wouldn't bet on it though. Take that money and put it on Mayweather. These are gift lines right now

I bet 6U on Mayweather (-600).

I'm happy with the price, stake isn't insanely high if a miracle happens, and I think I'm going to win a unit because I think Mayweather wins 99.9 times out of 100 with the .1 time being an injury or some bullshit. This is like when you check a teams win percentage and its at 99.9% in the 4th quarter and something absolutely mind boggling happens and they lose.

I've seen crazy shit happen in sports like a guy running for a touchdown with nobody within 20 yards of him and fumbling the ball into and out of the end zone resulting in a safety and a 9 point swing to lose a bet so I'm not going bigger and anything bigger I can't even really enjoy the fight.
 
The Mayweather Conor fight is such a strange betting phenomenon. Mayweather's odds are at 1.16 to 1.20 (-500). Hes a steep favorite for sure, but the value seems huge. I haven't come across a single Conor backer on this forum and i can't really imagine one popping up. It could be a great or truly devestating night for the forum.

Back to real boxing for a moment though. Are there any sites like boxrec but whose boxer pages show height and reach? I was looking into the RIgondeaux / Flores fight, Flores is listed as 5'10 while Rigondeaux is about 5'4. I wanted to go through Rigondeauxs opponents and see who else he has matched up to at that size / reach but neither wiki or boxrec have those stats listed.

ive started doing that already with this ufc card. just incase the price doesn't last. need to do some maths on opportunity cost of it being tied up to see how much i can stick on early. in for 8u ml @ 1.19 and 8u ko @2 @1.91 so far. money can win this with 1 hand.

fun fact: there are 21 fights on oddschecker before the money fight. 13 of them have shorter priced favorites than money. 1 the same. only 7 favorites are fancied less than money

The casuals "I'm chucking $50 on Conor" will add up. I'm not optimistic enough to think -350 or better but who knows. I mean, Floyd should -10000 really (well, really it shouldn't be sanctioned!) so who knows where this goes.

Be funny if the unthinkable actually happens or Floyd dives knowing the rematch is another $150mil for him
 
TBH though is anyone else sick of hearing about it already? news sites here that don't really cover either boxing or MMA are flooded with pointless articles about Conor not being allowed to throw a kick! So boring already & 2 months left of it...

Pac fights in 2 weeks, Canelo/GGG not far away and Ward/Kov this weekend & no one talking about any of those
 
You can bet people won't do their homework on this one because the assumption is so strong that Conor has next to zero chance.

In all likelihood Floyd makes Conor look like a neanderthal. But if Conor somehow lands something, the butthurt and sheer disbelief will be legendary.
 
I think people will be amazed at how slow Conor is gonna look in there
