Correct, it's not always who you are beating but Brook clearly beat Porter in my opinion; to go Stateside and do that and even be able to get the decision is impressive, he was landing plenty clean shots on GGG.
I take much more value in that than Spence' performances against Algieri and Bundu. Bundu can be tricky but he was also nearly 42 years old and managed to put up a good effort until the finish. Don't get me wrong I like Spence and think he'll be champ one day either way but nothing he has done so far is comparable to what he'll face this weekend. Brook is a completely different style, different animal.
More than anything I'm just excited to see how it unfolds and hope it lives up to the hype.
Man. I just disagree. I think beating Algeri the way he did is far better than beating Port over 12. Algeri could be as good a fighter as Porter. My point is acting like Brook has fough a higher class m(-GGG) is just wrong.
And yes Brook is a different animal for Spence. But the only fighter Brook fought comparable to Spence is GGG. And honestly for the shots Brook landed, and MANY fighters land on GGG. If we are being honest that was an easy fight for GGG.
Even money I'd be all over Spence. -150 I'd still see small value. I'll probably end up with a small bet on Briok and maybe Soence 7-12.
But I'm not confident here and just don't see out of control value on Brook
