Judges will go out of their way this time to be fair.

this is the thought. Ward is going to have to definitively win this one. Which is something fight 1 proved he cannot do.

im hoping to get kov at +150 and then middle later. i am fairly positive ward will be at plus money. kov is acting like his whole life depends on winning this fight whereas ward is pretty non-chalant

I honestly didn't like what I saw from Ward last fight. And I just am not sure he's got the same drive he had years back.

And I agree Quincy. I rhink Kov is putting it all out there this fight.

Man, I know we all make assumptions or educated guesses to decide how to bet, but this a huge assumption based on trying to imagine how these three particular judges are supposedly going to think on the night, combined with evidence I don't think is actually proven, based on one fairly competitive fight. I don't know what's going to happen for sure- maybe I made a big bet on a moderate favorite on a fight that can go either way- but some of the reasoning I'm reading here seems like it's really going out on a limb to draw a conclusion.

I think it's fine to assume judging will side more fairly in a rematch where there was controversy. Not saying they will side with Kov. But might just try to not be biased.

Liking Craig Evans @1.90 this weekend against Stephen Ormond. Evans doesn't pack a whole load of power but he's the classier boxer of the two and will have the better engine here. Ormond will be the stronger guy but I think Evans has the skill to keep the distance and frustrate him, it won't be flattering to watch but I like him to do it. Ormond has been in there with the better guys and has a good amateur background but Evans is fresher and also has a decent amateur pedigree too going the distance with Lomachenko in 2009.

Will also be on Ward too.

The way you worded it is a little confusing, but I take it you think Ward got whooped last time? I was actually on Ward pre-fight last time as a slight favorite, but live bet Kovalev in the mid-rounds even bigger, so I thought Kovalev was slightly ahead especially with the early knockdown by the time it got to the mid to later rounds. I thin Kovalev will have a harder time catching a more educated Ward this time and if he couldn't win with a knockdown, how will he win without one? By outboxing Ward?

Yep. Was huge on Ward last time, and he got his ass whooped pretty handidly. He did sliiightly better in the later rounds but I didn't see this huge rally everyone is talking about, and some even saying Ward won legit.. Baffling to me.
Story of the fight was Kovalevs jab and cross was just too educated and powerful, and Ward kinda diminishing physically just couldnt out hustle him on the inside, even while being allowed to hold quite a bit. I think Ward showed his age a lot, and he is a master boxer, but I think Kovalev might be too powerful for him, especially coupled with that very polished jab he showed off last time.

I see the "ward figured him out" narrative a lot from commentators and boxing people, but I don't really buy it. Kovalev is in his prime and Ward is leaving his, and I don't see why this should be much different in the second fight.

Ofcourse if he can get a robbery of that magnitude in the first fight, why shouldnt he be able to in the second, I suppose.

Since it's official I will legitimate put £15,000 on Mayweather.

I watched the 24/7 special on HBO and another pre-fight promo show as well on DirecTV channel 101 where Kovalev admitted he got a bit tired in round 5 of the first fight and things changed as he slowed down just a little. His camp said he might have been overtrained now after the fact. Will be interesting to see if Kovalev can keep up the same pace, because slowing just a little halfway through the fight could be a problem again.

wait for the ko prop. the books might make a mistake and give you a 20 percent discount.

this fight is not going 12 rounds because conner knows he only has two or three rounds to get it done
and will gameplan accordingly

Can I get Mayweather under 6 please? I hope the betting public bets Conor hard.

kov threw 100 less punches in the ward fight than against hopkins, power punches. if sergey can throw the 600 hes going to win the fight. andre threw 337 in the first fight and i dont see him going past 375 in the rematch

I am betting Mayweather with a friend who is giving me 2.5:1. My friend is pretty loaded so I am planning to max bet this with him and just free roll most of it online as right now Conor is still +600 range.

Conor starches him inside 13 seconds.

Probably not worth checking MMA news sites for a few months. Legit news will be drowned out by "BREAKING: Conor wears red gloves to training. See it here..." Going to be a brutal few months.
