man how did hopkins take that huge right hand so well

Hopkins is just so difficult to hurt. Smith needs to hit him perfectly like four or five times with a combo to hurt him badly.

smith clearly up on the cards.. but the line on his dec is +650? this one of those times again where i wonder if the bookies somehow got access to the cards.. the lines make zero sense

+4u on the fight

crazy odds on smith throughout the fight

I said he needed a perfect four or five punch combo to stop Hopkins and he got it knocking Bernard out of the ring. Wish I threw a few bucks on Smith ML or KO.

We all should've been on Smith last night. SMH. Everything from the line drop, 2 years off for B-Hop, 52 year old vs. a 27 year old with a chip on his shoulder.

did anyone discuss BHOPS fight? I got Smith at +200 and dropped a big 4u bet on him. what do you guys think? I think that age (and inactivity) finally catches up with the executioner

Was on Smith straight up and by decision. Glad he got the finish though. Fan of hop but annoying how he complains when someone does something to him.

Small play on the under in this LHW contest in Montreal this Friday. The heavy handed Beterbiev is fighting in his adopted hometown while his Paraguayan opponent, also a knockout artist, is traveling a long way for this contest. Prieto has never been stopped as a pro, but Beterbiev has finished nine out of ten of fights before the middle of the seventh round except for one that went over by only eight seconds. Beterbiev's promoter is looking to get him into a title eliminator in 2017, so an impressive stoppage would help his case.

Artur Beterbiev/Isidro Ranoni Prieto Under 6½ (-125) $50.00 for $40.00

i was able to get prieto at +3000 and since live betting is going to be offered i couldnt pass it up

I like the value on the younger Corrales in this super-featherweight rematch on New Year's Eve in Tokyo, especially considering that he stopped Uchiyama in the second round in their last bout only eight months ago. The price on this has shot up significantly at most books.

Jezreel Corrales (-133) vs Takashi Uchiyama ~$122.09 for ~$91.80

Small cha-ching. Beterbiev knocks down Prieto twice in the very first round and the ref waves it off as Prieto can't even get his legs under him to fully stand up.

Just watched this and bet on the under also. I did not expect him to drop Prieto with the first right he threw. Very impressive performance!

Might follow with Jezeel. Seems Takashi is too old now.

Badou Jack at +240 versus James DeGale draw no bet with Bet365 looks too big to pass up. I see why DeGale is the favourite but not by that much.

Okay, Jack once got KOd in 1 but he has since shown durability against credible opposition, that appears to have been a freak result. And Jack's draw with Bute was nonsense, the 117-111 Jack card was much more reflective of the fight than the two 114-114 cards. If anything I thought DeGale's fight with Porky Medina on the same card was closer to a draw.

I think DeGale is the more talented fighter but Jack is a solid all-rounder and DeGale tends to fade around Round 6 until Round 10 and then rallies late on. So there is an argument to just live-bet Jack after about 5 rounds. I still like the +240 draw no bet in what I see as a 65-35 fight for DeGale at the widest.

Fuentes v Tanaka has me interested this weekend. Fuentes lost to nietes whilst Tanaka is in his il8th fight
