I'm barely paying attention with the craziness of the Cub Swanson/Doo Ho Choi fight that just ended, but according to the on screen graphic Steve Farhood has Mares unofficially up 79-73 over Cuellar after 8 rounds? But one book has Abner Mares at +1150? Something is off here.

Live In-Play Abner Mares (+1150) vs Jesus Marcelo Cuellar ~$38.80 for ~$446.20

Jim. That line is insane!!

There were some incredible fights this past weekend. Next week we have Povetkin vs Stiverne in Russia for a heavyweight title with the latter as a 10-1 underdog. Anyone give Stiverne a puncher's chance? Also 51 year old Bernard Hopkins' last fight as a roughly -250 favorite against heavy handed construction worker Joe Smith Jr. who knocked out Andrzej Fonfara in a huge first round upset in his last bout. Plus terrifying cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk as a huge favorite defending his belt against Thabiso Mchunu.

Also, it's not booked until April 29th, but what do you guys think about Anthony Joshua opening as a -169 to -250 favorite to Wladimir Klitschko?

there might be a chance to live bet middle the hopkins fight with joe smith +200. he is a limited brawler somewhat like an antwun echols but the 50-year-old hopkins coming off a two year abscence and almost being kod in his last fight might not have much left. with the possibility of ring rust of timing and reflexes, bernards plan might be to lose the first four rounds of the 12 round fight where smith is dangerous and win the later rounds

I have to favor the Russian getting yet another stoppage in this WBC interim heavyweight title fight in Russia this Saturday over the visiting American:

Alexander Povetkin wins inside distance (-135) vs Bermane Stiverne $135.00 for $100.00

Be interesting to see what shape Stiverne is in at the weigh-in. Bad shape and I agree the KO is likely.

I like the odds on Barrera v the undefeated Russian? +300. I put 12 on him.

Stiverne looking pretty soft. Povetkin too, but less so. Povetkin weighed in at 223.7 pounds, while Stiverne weighed 249 pounds.

I like the value on Shabranskyy inside the distance tonight on HBO Latino & BoxNation since it shot up to +270 even though Barrera hasn't been stopped as a pro. Also like Povetkin to stop a soft and heavy Bermane Stiverne tomorrow in Russia. Bernard Hopkins is scheduled for his last fight ever against heavy handed Joe Smith Jr. on Saturday on a card that also features terrifying cruiserweight Oleksandr Usyk in a title defense but haven't bet either of those fights yet. Might be some live bet opportunities.

Vyacheslav Shabranskyy wins inside distance (+270) vs Sullivan Barrera $40.00 for $108.00

Alexander Povetkin wins inside distance (-135) vs Bermane Stiverne $135.00 for $100.00

joined you on Shab ITD and taking his ml -212 @ bf ex (loss if draw) also took Ellis +200 vs Gomez @ bf (loss if draw) only becourse the odds are way higher then the rest of the bookies ~+145

limits are crap though so just small bets

I'm not familiar with Ellis & Gomez. Can you briefly explain why you like Ellis as a dog?

Think there's some solid value on Stiverne at ~12-1. Povetkin has been on fire lately but Stiverene has a sick chin, a lot of power, pretty good counter puncher, and he's just a tough guy who's only one or two shots away from stopping somebody.

Anyway I'll take a shot at Stiverne to pull off the upset as a big dog especially considering we're talking hw's.

Got this in just as the BoxNation commentators mentioned that the Tapia corner was throwing in the towel!

Live In-Play: Ronny Rios/Roy Tapia Under 9½ (+316) ~$39.00 for ~$123.24
