Boxers losing in streetfights?

This guy must of suffered a lot from that because it actually worked for him...Unskilled guy who destroys skilled guys.

Im not talking about myself either way..I clearly mentioned an experienced street brawler who has been in certain grappling/MMA positions before.

You are dleusional if you don't think an average brawler would wreck Floyd Mayweather if they got in a clinch, and took mayweather down.

Like I said it will look like Bob Sapp vs a tiny guy.

Bob Sapp is a 350 lbs steroid freak professional fighter who trained with Josh Barnett yet...

Bob Sapp lost to
Jan Nortje who lost to
Gary Goodridge who lost to
Mighty Mo who lost to
Lamar Stephens who lost to
Demetrius King who lost to
Zuri Lawrence who lost to
Eddie Chambers who lost to
Tomasz Adamek who lost to
Chad Dawson who lost to
Jean Pascal who lost to
Bernard Hopkins who lost to
Jermain Taylor who lost to
Kelly Pavlik who lost to
Sergio Martinez who lost to
Antonio Margarito who lost to
Shane Mosley who lost to
Floyd Mayweather who lost to NOBODY

MMATH says that Floyd Mayweather would beat Bob Sapp!

Training is obsolete, just watch TV, got it.

By street fight I'm assuming a situation where two or more groups are aware of the fight at least before getting sucker punched.
(Also excluding situations like crazed meth heads trying to bite your face off) and everyone is able to handle the fight or flight response (I find competitive sport helps at this). Obviously getting jumped gives a massive advantage to the attacker.

Regardless of the situation having the ability to strike and grapple at multiple ranges (instead of solely boxing range) makes the MMA skill set the most effective in a street fight.

Did u ever see/remember that cctv footage of Shannon taylor taking out multiple guys outside a Wollongong pub like a decade ago?

It's ok....Feel threaten by MMA.

Fact is any street brawler who seen MMA and been in actual MMA grappling positions in the streets will fucking wreck a Boxer....I know that makes you feel sad inside but accept it.

Generally speaking boxers arn't exactly the most physically strong people...I can totally see a brawler getting the clinch(Most fights take place indoors so it will happen), the brawler will simply take down the boxer and destroy him from there....Shit wouldn't doubt if a RNC happened.

I don't see why this is so hard to aceept to boxing fans.

I admit in the park in an open field, yep the Boxer has and advantage because he can simply move back and hit the brawler who doesn't know how to close the distance...

Any where else, Indoors at a bars, houses, etc where the clinch is gonna happen and the fight will go to the ground...RIP in Pieces Boxers.

Didn't I see you at a party recently?

Most people dont kick in street fights.... they do wrestle... if you have boxed you would have and advanatage in a street fight with an average person.... but its a guy who has had a million street fights against a person who just trains in boxing,,,,, advantage street fighter

This is arguably the most impressive thing I have seen on Sherdog

I've been mugged a few times. No martial art or anything really helps you when large groups and weapons get involved. You sit back, don't act like a ****, and accept it for the most part. Other random street encounters with myself and other people ended in a few fights where I won a few and lost a few others (with groups on my side and vice versa), but that's how it is. Rough spots happen here and there if you're going to head out, but if you're not an idiot you can avoid most trouble.

Funny story my trainer told me when he was younger, who was a pretty popular boxer back in his days, when he fought a state champ wrestler in a parking lot. The wrestler had taken him down and slammed him from the side when he wasn't looking , where he managed to get out the scuffle on the floor(untrained wrestler) and knocked him out as soon as they got up. There are too many IFs involved in these type of situations, but i think in most cases if you are both standing up facing each other ,which is how most fights start, with guys shoving each other) the boxer will win 95% of the time.

Those saying that just by observation your level of skill goes up is complete utter bullshit!!

TheWire is a clown.

I've been involved in street fights it's always the fat dudes who think they're tough that waddle foreword while getting pieced up while they try to "take someone down". Also I'm putting the boots on the back of howevers dome that has my homeboy mounted. Street fights aren't fair, never.

With how much information that can allegedly be absorbed and properly applied through mere observation, you'd think more people would know how to throw a punch.

I'm thinking about getting into watching MMA for self defence but i'm worried i may not be fat enough, do you think i should watch a few animated gifs first and build up my fatness, or just dive right in? i'm worried i'll get an injury or have to do something.

If you're not 275+, you're a pussy who can't scrap (or eat). If you are the appropriate weight, watch some Lesnar and Leben. That's all you need.

well as part of my S&C plan i've been loading mcdonalds to get my weight about 250. Do you think i can beat the Klitschko's at this weight, or should i stack some KFC and shoot for the 275? I have both an ed hardy and a tapout shirt if that helps.

my self defense trainer always taught me to never punch people on the face ( because you would hurt your hand) and high kick ( because you would lose balance) on the street

if you can kick them on the nuts and run, or low Kick them

i would say thai clinch is affective but you don't know what people have on their pocket

Bas Rutten and multiple people have said that they have grappled and submitted guys in brawl fights. While others were hitting them.

To be honest it doesn't seem that bad to use...You can literally choke out guys in a couple of seconds, while dodging other people's hits depending on the angle your at.

What if somebady hits you on the head with bottle or ashtrey or a stick or stab you
