Bow Down To The NFL GOAT

I'm sorry but you guys are out of control with this GOAT regardless of position shit. Jerry Rice dominated in a way that is still mind boggling to look at. ESPN ranked him #1 all time and #2, #3, etc. are not even close, its Rice by a mile.

Jerry Rice had 2 of the top 10 qbs in nfl history almost his entire career ...... yes he was the goat we bit give him mediocre qbs his whole career and see what his numbers are. Brady yearly has very average wrs and makes them into stars.

Jay Cutler isn't half the QB Rodgers is, but I know one thing, he doesn't bury his teammates in the media like he's LeBron James.

Rodgers is an egomaniac and you can see players quit on him. Every time somebody leaves they do nothing but talk about how much of a D bag he is.
Also, every time somebody leaves they do nothing. So, there's that

Didn't know Charles Woodson talked shit when he left. And I'll take his opinion over Finley and Jennings, or Driver who's still longing for the days of Favre

Brock Osweiler is the GOAT...

at stealing money

Thank god this puts the end to the Aaron Rodgers goat talk.

What a joke that is.

Brady GOAT!

Shannon Sharpe agrees it's Brady (specifically mentioning him over Rice):

These guys do think he's the GOAT of football:

To all the haters:

The Manning brothers have less rings than the Brady brothers, and Tom Brady doesnt have a brother

The rings argument is so dumb - how many rings would he have had he been drafted by Cleveland instead of NE? Like I said he's great and took advantage of his opportunity as well as anyone but to act like he'd drag any franchise to Super Bowls is ridiculous, especially since the guy is an absolute statue in the pocket and has looked extremely average when teams have really gotten pressure on him

One thing Peyton can say is that he probably could've won a ring in Cleveland, because before he got to Indy that's basically the franchise they were

If you're comparing Peyton to Brady, Peyton was more of a statue . Brady was much better at sensing the pressure and instinctively sliding around in the pocket. Peyton was extremely immobile the last 6 years of his career. Brady is not a blazer by any means, but he was more mobile and has the arm strength to throw on the run. Peyton didn't have the arm strength to throw on the run, especially outdoors. Teams would give him the deep ball knowing Peyton couldn't throw the ball very far in outdoor cold weather. Brady can still throw a nice deep ball even in the conditions.

Peyton was probably the king of getting flustered under pressure. When he got that whipped puppy look, you knew it was over. And the guy was mentally done. Brady has always been more mentally tough, and more calm under pressure. Peyton always had those happy feet and looked like he was scared of contact.

Both were great qb's, but Brady stands head and shoulders above Peyton.

I'm not saying that I think Peyton is better, just using him as an example since I was replying to the post above. Neither was mobile and both have used their smarts to limit the pass rush probably better than anyone else who's ever played QB - and Peyton had a pretty strong arm before the neck injuries started limiting him (although he always threw a slightly wobbly ball which I thought was strange)

But like I said, one thing Peyton does have on Brady is that he turned a terrible franchise around. NE was a joke for most of their existence before Brady, but they did make it to a Super Bowl in the late 90's and they had a pretty good team when Bledsoe went down and opened the door for him

I just hate the more rings automatically equates to better argument. Rodgers is easily the most complete QB I've ever seen and you can't tell me that anyone else would've had more success in his place the last 6 or 7 years

Yeah I pretty much agree with all that. Peyton's arm got way worse with the neck problems. And he always did sorta have a wobbly ball.

My theory is his wobbly ball hurt him when he played outdoors in the cold windy weather. Indoors at his stadium, that didn't matter so much. I saw a stat years ago about his win percentage in cold weather, and it was not good compared to the record he had in warm or indoor weather.

I do agree that Peyton had his own system that could take a poor team to a really good team. I give him that for sure. I think Peyton struggled playing the physical defenses more than Brady. Peyton just always looked more insecure to me with pressure. And seemed less likely to remain composed than Brady. Brady just always seemed like the more relaxed and composed athlete under pressure.

I just hate the more rings automatically equates to better argument. Rodgers is easily the most complete QB I've ever seen and you can't tell me that anyone else would've had more success in his place the last 6 or 7 years
I hear you. Rings is not the only indicator of greatness. But it's gotta be in the equation.

I haven't watched Rogers as much. He's maybe got more physical tools than any of them. To me, Brady has the perfect makeup and mentality for a competitor.

Its time to ditch "the Michael Jordan of". Brady is the greatest American athlete of all time!
Jack Nicklaus, Michael Johnson, Michael phelps, serena Williams, Michael Jordan, carl Lewis and sugar ray Robinson all called...

It's typically poor people who care about Olympic "sports."

the head set issue at the end of the game bothers me. But tom Brady is my favorite qb so I don't know what to think right now

Can you make a meme with Brady holding Goodell's head?
