Media Bo's physique looks kinda sh*tty for mw

He's not the most ripped guy in the world for sure but the guy won a college wrestling national championship at 197 pounds. I don't think he's too small for the division of that's what you're getting at. He wrestled at 174 as a college freshman. Can't see him making 170 pounds.

Fedor and DC didnt physiques didnt look amazing either. Anderson Silva looked nothing special.

Kongo had the chiseled physique but was rather unathletic relying on wall and stall with knees to the nuts.

So the whole looks thing is dumb
Good points.

Then there is the fact that most people on here hate weight cutting and then get upset at the guy for looking soft when fighting in his most natural weight class.

His corner told him to take RDR down in round 2. He was unable to take him down, even though he had a body lock on him.
It seemed like there was too much of a strength/size difference, or is RDRs takedown defense excellent?

To be fair though if DC had competed at his natural, not fat, weight he would've been jacked. Same with Fedor actually.

He gets too fat between camps to make 170, even though I feel he would be much stronger there, but to be fair RDR is possibly the largest MW on the roster currently, he dwarfs most.

This gen of wrestlers don't cut a lot of weight. NCAA has mandatory weight management program. They walk closer to what they wrestle at. They are only allowed to lose 1.5 percent of their bodyweight per week. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ncaa.org/documents/2021/1/18/Wrestling_20Weight_20Management_web.pdf

Bo probably screwed himself. He got up to 222 and had to cut to 185. He had to lose around 30 lbs. Give or take he was wearing 5lbs of clothing,

Wtf he cut like 5 times in that video. I’ve never seen someone do that before.

Why did he start so heavy at 222? At least 2 days out he was “only” 15 over

Bo would have got his ass torn to pieces, walking around all thin like that.

I suspect watching fights isn't exactly your thing. You seem more into watching male bodies.

Hard weight cuts can zap muscle and tire easier. Bo could not dictate fight and took hard shots. Bad time to mess with preparation going against a big skilled experienced RDR. Will be a while until Bo comes back and he is now far from contention. As Bo puts it, he is mid. More interested in how RDR will do against top 10.

Battle of the two weirdest body types!
And the weirdest one won! MMA scientists will study this for years.
