Media Bo's physique looks kinda sh*tty for mw

Fedor and DC didnt physiques didnt look amazing either. Anderson Silva looked nothing special.

Kongo had the chiseled physique but was rather unathletic relying on wall and stall with knees to the nuts.

So the whole looks thing is dumb
Dc and fedor were a lot stronger and more athletic than their physiques would indicate. Doesn't seem to be the case with Bo

Also, he'll be back

First lost ever against a legit contender with experience, let's give him some grace yall

I knew he wasn't gonna do to much either. He's undersized and not that strong or athletic. That's not really gonna cut it for a wrestling base guy. If you look at most wrestlers they are usually big and or strong for the weight. Maybe if he was lucky enough to be blessed with one punch to power but it doesn't look like he has it

Well when you lack strength, speed, athleticsm, cardio, chin, heart and size for your weightclass it's somewhat of a handicap for cage-fighting.

(Just busting balls. I actually like Bo)

Yeah he's not the most imposing looking guy and could easily fight at 170lbs IMO.

With such a physique, he is a liar that he 'bulked up' to 222 lbs. Unless, he was putting on a lot of fat and then losing the fat, he simply has no base muscularity for him to build on in the off-season.

should fight in pride for awhile and come back.

Yeah, never in history have we seen scrawny or fat steroid users.

Yeah but you could tell they were thick stocky guys even if they were short for their weight class.

Bo doesn't look to have a lot of muscle and he doesn't really have the frame of MW either. RDR looked gigantic compared to him and even if he fought someone shorter like say Marvin Vettori he'd still look small frame/muscle wise compared to him.

Couple times now where Bo has just looked undersized at MW.

Bo looks like a classic case of 175 being the ideal weight. 170 may be a rough cut

I agree that he looked quite small in there, now I'll have to go back and watch all his other fights again but I don't remember him looking small in his previous fights, he looked like a normal size MW in his other fights. But this time he looked like a bloated WW which was weird.

Only on sherdog will these retards call a 3 time NCAA wrestling champ "unathletic"

If he gets up to the low 220s in the off season. It’s his own fault if he has trouble making weight.

It’s hard to believe that Paddy can seem to gain so much weight, and then cut it with no obvious visible ill effects. He does seem to have an eating disorder though. Which is another matter.

Can Nickal make 170? I have no idea. But cutting from 220 to 170 sounds like it would be a really bad idea. Why does he put on so much weight in the offseason? Surely he should be able to stay at around 200? Because cutting from 200 to 170 is not even remotely crazy, or impossible. He is supposedly cutting more than that right now, at MW.

He could be a little more active. That would be an incentive to stay lighter than he supposedly is now. Fight 3 times a year. That would leave less time to balloon up. He’s already 29. He doesn’t have all the time in the world to begin with. And he clearly has a lot of work to do if he wants to become a top 5 guy.

Be disciplined for a few years. When you retire from fighting you can become as obese as DC. Because with pro athletes every day that goes by is a day you are never getting back. Why make it harder on yourself?

As always though.. His career, his body, and his choice.

Didn't say he was unathletic. I said he was not that athletic and obviously meant in the context of comparing him to other UFC middleweights. I'm not talking about his accolades either I'm talking about his physical abilities and how they stack up to the rest of the division
