How would Khamzat do vs the MW GOAT?

There were little striking exchanges in this fight but the ones that were there seemed even. We didn't really learn much more about Khamzat's striking skills than we knew beforehand.

As for his wrestling, still looks as strong as ever. Dricus has negative wrestling IQ, no distance management, that granby roll he finally tried after so much time was pathetic and landed him in an even worse position lol.

His grappling on the ground was great in terms of getting into strong positions (crucifix, back mount, side control, mount, all of them several times) but I do think his sub attempts were a bit one dimensional. Like he exclusively attempted RNC's and one or two darces if I recall correctly.

This is his main point of improvement, but I guess at least he proved to be smart enough to also be able to win fights safely and preserve his gastank which a lot of people doubted beforehand.

Spider got wrestlefucked by Sonnen until he pulled of the last minute sub. He also got wrestlefucked by DC although he was obviously post prime at that point.

I do have doubts about Khamzat's striking defense, particularly head movement if too many chunks of the fight would be in stand up. That said Khamzat might be able to wrestlefuck for 25 minutes, Spider's guard is not comparable to Gilberts and I think Khamzat's sub defense and positional control is just far more advanced than that of a generic wrestleboxer like Chael. I also think Khamzat has better hands than Chael.

I'd say it's a match up 60-40 match up in Khamzat's favor. What do you guys think?

Chael held Anderson down for five rounds, what do u think Chimaev would do

The same thing, though for some reason I doubt Khamzat's striking defense a bit more in that match up. Basically it boils down to the amount of time spent in the stand up and how Khamzat's striking defense holds up during that time.

Just like Chael vs. Silva 1 went.

But a decision.

Are we talking prime silva? Or silva with a broken rib like some of the retards in this thread seem to be suggesting?

Chimmy would have to work 5 times as hard to get takedowns on a prime silva, and the guy actually wasn't a literal mongoloid defensively on the mat like DDP.

If anything, what we know now is that if chimaev doesn't completely overpower someone strength wise, he doesn't have such an easy time finding submissions as some would lead you to believe.
