Bodyfat% honest guess

You look about 20-22% if I had to take a guess. Good job on your progress. Keep focusing on slow and steady progress to help your body reset your equilibrium set point to your new goal weight. It will take a couple years at that weight until your body settles on it.

I'm not too far from the goal weight of 175 I had at the start of thing but I may cut down to like 165 depending on how I actually am down there

I think your instinct to just get it over with and get down to 165 is probably best option

BUT…. A gentle 4 week surplus, if you know how to diet.. you replenish your muscles and maybe add a bit of muscle.. IMO that option should always be on the table. Don’t feel like you have to lose muscle. I know a guy who has gyno (he’s natty) and so he just obsessed about losing weight. Bro got down to 147 man he honestly looked fine last year at 165..

Definitely a good idea any way of getting leaner that helps my athleticism more is preferable

I'm gonna finish it maintain for a bit so my body can be fed and compete a bit then I'll think about what from there
proof that most people are actually 155ers or below

I would get my weight down to 175 if I fought. It’d be brutal and id be at 10% body fat.. but it’s better then fighting WW with a gut

Honestly if you just get it done you could lean bulk for like 6 months. I say take it all the way. I always regretted bailing early on my cuts
Did you calculate calories on cuts ? That sounds like a chore but beats not losing the belly fat

Absolutely not. Too many variables between exercise, metabolism, body fat %, anabolics etc

Im cutting slowly and if I fall behind schedule I’m prepared to do 2 weeks of hell and then go back to a slow cut

Eat less or eat less carb / fat. What are your practical tricks. Do you feel energy switches when you train ?

I switched from rice to potato’s as my main carb. Mainly Hash browns.. but I just fry it up with water.. maybe you should use veggie oil instead. I’m not a chef

Multigrain bread.. chicken.. yogurt..

If youre not worried about sodium get egg whites. It’s like 50 grams of protein in those little cartons

We don't got liquid eggs in Europe. Veggie oil I just like the cold pressed ones like Olive or Coconut fat. Or bake things. Or grease it with it's own fat.
I like potatoes over grains too but grains are often faster to prepare. So yeah you just wing it when you cut and go towards less calories and losing weight by ... eating less or less calorie dense. I'm hungry now, time to snack.
