I know most of the "stud" blue and purple belt competitors locally and none outside of him I felt you would be that cocky with.

Yeah, Johny is almost stuck as a blue nowadays I think. Marc doesn't promote people who don't train with the gi regularly, and giving him a purple would almost be patronizing to how good he actually is on the ground.

Who knows though, Johny has really gone back to the gi lately.

He even trains in DFW nowadays if your instructors want to call him out. Who are your instructors?

Come on bud I can't speak for them and I was definitely not calling anyone out. I was just giving my opinion on whether or not a bluebelt would beat my instructors. :icon_chee

My instructors are Chris Brennan and Josh Bosquez...

Johny Hendricks is a beast and seems to be a great guy but I still think in a grappling match Chris or Josh would win.....

Ehh, I don't think so. Maybe Vinnie can chime in here, he's trained with Johny enough to let you know how he does against blackbelts.

I can understand picking your coaches because its hard to not idolize them. But picking against a 3 time NCAA champ who has been training jiujitsu for over six years is a little eh.

I don't idolize them I train with them and I believe he would lose to Chris or Josh... It's just my opinion so it really doesn't matter and I don't see Johny entering any grappling tournaments anytime soon, lol. I believe he has a bigger fish to fry anyway and I hope he kicks ass when he gets his chance. Again, I can not speak for Chris or Josh and I am not trying to start anything I am just stating my opinion.
