BLM is about countering racism. Not your crusade against Marxism.

You can say that all you want, it doesn’t make it true. It is, by all documentary evidence, a movement that seeks to shift culture from the western idea freedom to their view of justice, Marxism. And they are willing to use whatever mean is necessary to accomplish these ends, any. Every idea the west hold dear is rooted in racism and is therefore evil and can and should be toppled by their definition. Listen to what the leaders have said in interviews and published. if your too blinded by your ideology to read and listen to them directly then that’s on you.

I agree they have one agenda, the replacement of our western republic, to the leaders the whole system is unjust. Case in point ,I told you what would happen when people ceded the Confederate monuments lasts year ( Remember the discussion about the preservationist the President called good people, not the nazis and white supremacists discussion we had). These people who you say only have one agenda have sought to bring down most every monument in the county , all the way up the Washington monument. It was never about those Southern edifices , it was always about the foundation of America. I told you then and what I said was sadly true.

You obviously don't know very much about history, do you? Because it clearly shows that when the powers that be oppresses a people for long enough that there's inevitably going to be a backlash from the masses. And in some cases riots have broken out in the midst of the demonstrations. And, yes, some buildings have been burned in the process. But I have yet to witness any of these entire cities being reduced to smoldering piles of rubble like you claim to have seen.

I'm not excusing the property damage that's been done but it's the lesser of two evils. The other being the mass loss of life. Things could be so much worse than they are.

Someone earlier in this thread brought up instances of protesters/BLM members/rioters supposedly matching through while neighborhoods & demanding that the white folks leave their homes. I've not heard of any such instances so I don't know if they actually occurred or not. But clearly, no one was dragged from their homes & murdered. Unfortunately the same can't be said for black people in this country.

For sure. Last time we all actually pretty much agreed that we all had different definitions of racism. But we could never agree or come to terms on a consensus definition everyone was willing to accept. I admit mine is strict 0 tolerance. I was shocked with how loose their definitions were.

cocksure gave the perfect example of systemic racism; Stop and search in London. You are multiple times more likely to be stopped if you are black. Ive never been stopped, some of my black friends have lost count the amount of times they have. The reason is society, and the police think a black man in a flash motor has to be a drug dealer. Society needs cops. Cops can be good. Cop is a very dangerous voluntary job.
Society doesn't need speed traps from multiple units of LEAs on one road or in the same area. Society doesn't need a covert non visible police force in unmarked cars hiding from people. When a visible police presence is the best deterant for crime. Society doesn't need 4-5 cop cars sitting in a parking lot in amiddle class suburb shooting the shit on the clock eating donuts, while inner city higher crime areas are understaffed.
Society doesn't need police to be equipped with paramilitary equipment to use against citizens. Society doesn't need police to execute, assault, or torture non lethal offenders to make an arrest.
If this type of culture grows and is unregulated it makes sense to look at options like to defund.

I tell you what I 100% rather defend myself against a criminal or civilian than any altercation or negative interaction with a Police Department. I stand a much better chance like that.
