Yeah Gosling is on the Short list of great Leading Actors who haven't won an Oscar Yet.

It’s weird, I consider myself a “movie guy” or a cinephile, and yet somehow I haven’t seen any movies with Ryan Gosling outside of this and the Notebook.

Another actor like that for me is Daniel Day Lewis. He’s largely considered one of the best actors out there, and yet I haven’t seen a single movie with him.

You haven't seen last of the mohicans? Or GONY?

Why did Joi bring the prostitute over in the first place again? Was it a ruse by the replicant rebellion?

Joi was programmed to say and do what gosling wanted. You bought into her like he did.. But even her last words "I love you" were just what the software had deduced he wanted to hear. She wasn't real. "She" knew he wanted something more real, so she gave it to him.

Just saw this tonight with the kids. Solid movie, visually stunning.

Different from the original and uniquely very good.

Havent actually posted in the thread, but its been a few weeks since Ive seen it. Easily some of the best sci fi of the decade and a more than worthy sequel to the original classic.

Just got back from watching this in the theaters.

I didnt really like it and thought it was boring. Flame me but I thought Ghost in the Shell was better.

5/10

Well that's something we shall have to remedy, isn't it?

Check out Half Nelson and Lars and the real girl for Gosling

I don't understand people saying the CGI was awful. While watching the movie last night I was thinking to myself, "this is a great use of CGI unlike shite like the phantom menace or some dog shit Transformers movie".

Same. There was nothing cartoony about it. I thought everything that was supposed to look real did.

because they used miniature models for the basis and supplemented with CGI.

Half Nelson was a good. There was one scene near the end that was fucking great. I'm sure you can figure out what it is.

As far as this movie it was ok the blade runner movies literally almost put me to sleep. The first and second one have had me struggling to stay awake didn't help that I was already very tired.
