It is not a stretch to say that will be less than Infinitys War's opening weekend . Hell infinity War has a Shot at Force Awakens Numbers.

It was a great run with winning 5 consecutive weekends at the U.S. box office but Pacific Rim Uprising is going to dethrone Black Panther this weekend.

BLACK PANTHER Surpasses TITANIC to Become No. 3 Highest Grossing Movie in U.S.
Ryan Coogler's Black Panther is still making history nearly two months after it first opened in theaters.
The latest accomplishment: The Disney and Marvel superhero tentpole passed up James Cameron's Titanic on Saturday to rank as the third top-grossing title of all time at the North American box office behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($936.7 million) and Avatar ($760.5 million), not adjusted for inflation.
Black Panther finished Friday with a domestic total of $659.3 million, just shy of the $659.5 million grossed by Titanic, which sailed into theaters in late 1997.
Globally, Black Panther has grossed $1.29 billion, ranking as the No. 10 title of all time.
The film — unprecedented in being a big-budget studio tentpole featuring a virtually all-black cast — stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa/Black Panther alongside Lupita Nyong'o, Michael B. Jordan, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.
The story, described as a tale of black power and black pride in addition to its superhero themes, follows T'Challa as he is sworn in as king of Wakanda, a cloaked, technologically advanced nation in Africa that is home to the exotic metal vibranium, the source of Black Panther's powers.

Add in inflation and Gone With The Wind is the highest grossing movie ever followed by Avatar and Titantic and Star Wars.
Star Wars has brought more money in then anyone and will never be topped.
All the merchandise, movies in VHS and DVD, ticket sales.....
Black Panther and every movie franchise ever, fails in comparison.

After trying desperately to make white males look like bumbling idiots for 15-20 years, the media is definitely seeing the results. Is what it is. Black panther was a decent, not great, movie.. I think a nice mix of leads is a good thing.

Mother of Jesus was this movie bad.
Not often do I rate a movie as low as I did with this garbage. The only time I have given a score 1 out of 10, is if I by accident have downloaded an Asylum Studios movie.
But with small budgets and D-level actors you know what is waiting for you.
But A-class movies with a budget the size of Rwandas BNP, you should atleast expect something for your money. The story is cringe worthy. The CGI is really really bad considering we are in 2018.
This movie could have been made by Tyler Perry.
