Black Friday Scum

I also think the sales are worth it if you aren't trying to go for a specific huge deal that you will need to fight for. Especially for clothing. Most of those stores cut their prices below half of what they originally are since clothing has high markups. As long as you can wait and you go in a day or so before to see exactly what your interested in, its highly worth the savings

If I had a chance to get a lets say PS4 for 1/2 price, I would seriously injure people while making sure I get it.

At least there are some filthy capitalist pigdogs left in Finland.

Alot of capitalism critics here, but let me ask you guys something.

The computer or phone you're reading this on, what role did government hold in its development?

How about the clothes you're wearing? Did the government issue them or did you stitch them yourself?

How about those government-controlled grocery stores and fast food places? Or do you hunt, fish, or grow your entire diet?

Look at countries that government controls or the private sector, the countries that allow there to be a private sector anyway, and tell me which ones are prosperous as compared to the capitalist countries... not just groups as a whole, but individuals being able to come from nothing to be as wealthy as they'd like.

You guys are coming off as hipster kids that act like people having more than them is the bane of their existence.

The government had a little hand in the cell phone. There's a 1 in 3 chance the camera in it came from Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA) technology. GPS was they DoD. Integrated circuits were made by Texas Instruments for the Apollo program and funded from NASA.

I thought that story was true until I googled it. Everything she said seemed perfectly plausible for some trash to spew out. Especially the arrogance of thinking the police can't take the X-Box away.

The "free" anything with a contract is a scam for absolute morons who have never had a job that requires them to know anything.. The $50 you save on the Tablet/Phone/wtevr is about 1.5-2% of the total contract, so that's how much you are saving, like 2%.

I had 2 things I wanted to get from Dick's for my kids, a bigger soccer goal (my son is really good) and roller blades for both my girls. I was about to purchase these blades which come with knee/elbow pads in the box like a week ago at 59.95 per set. I actually bought one, they were already "on sale" from 79.95, but Dick's is overpriced at MSRP so the 59.95 sounded about right. The 6x12' soccer net was $200 and I thought "that's too much." But I thought to myself, I think these items will go on sale for Black Friday, but I don't think they will be the "door-busters" that everybody will go crazy for, so I returned the one blade set I got for the girls. Well, I went out Friday evening, and everything I wanted was 50% off. The Blades were supposed to be 50% off the "regular" price of $79.95, but I bitched a little at the register and the manager ringing stuff behind our row said "just give them the door-buster price" or wtevr.. So I got the blades with pads for $30, and the larger goal (still a rip for $7 cost of China plastic) for $100 instead of $200. So basically, don't go out with the retarded hoards and faux competitive female types, and just go out later in the day and they will give you the same deal, because they are shooting for a HUGE gross number for that day, and their mark-ups are higher than you think. I'm a clearance shopper and usually spend 20% at places like CVS getting like $50 worth of stuff, so I know what good deals are.. You can get them all year round, but you can get lucky on black Friday if you don't sign any contracts, and make sure you are getting at least 50% off the thing you actually want.

Somebody please tell me there's a South Park episode about Black Friday

I inadvertently went black thursday shopping when the girlfriend and I needed new batteries for the Wii. We ended up at Walmart a few hours after they opened their doors for the big deals. Whatever they had on pallets in the electrical section were wiped clean and only a few TVs left. Everything else didnt seem like a good deal but i did find some tools that were on sale so i bought them. Then i felt bad that i had shopped on black thursday, but fuck it, where i work we are open 365 days a year and i had to work that morning.

Let's see here.

Advocating government intervention in the private sector, unrealistic POV marked by irrational idealism, misplaced anger...

This may just be the worst OP I've seen in the Mayberry. And that's saying something...

Buzzwords and pseudo intellectual phrases make you cum, huh?

Yeah, apparently the UK's adopted it now too. I've not heard about all the fights and deaths there though.

Apparently shit was going down outside Asda last week, they were selling 32" tv's for
