I just need to hear from some other black friday haters. Just the mere aspect of how desperate and pathetic these people shopping on black friday are behaving makes me sick and i need to hear from some other people who agree. I honestly think that the government needs to intervene because these people are acting like mindless sheep and the excessive lengths they're going to get their precious products is truly sick.

Go figure i'm posting this on a mma website where we're assumingly huge fans of watching people beat other people up for a living.

I could go on an on about how fucked up i think this whole black friday frenzy has become, but at the core of it, i think it's truly a sad statement of the current mindset of america and i despise it. Consumer greed at it's worst. People acting like ravenous savages who normally are calm people become violent and go to great lengths just to get the "newest stuff" that advertisers convince their small minds that they just have to have.

Chime in Shermerica cause i love my country but i loathe this behavior. It truly makes me sick to my soul. Humans are better than this. Or are we?

Anyways Black Friday in Canada is overrated. I'm waiting for Boxing day. That is when the real deals come out.
 
I'm not a fan of Grey Thursday that's for sure but I'm guessing the stores want to get rid of the tents outside.
 
Ever hear of Boxing Day (I believe it's Boxing Week now), TS? yeah, 1,000,000 times worse. I will admit, I am one of those 'mindless sheep' who go out around that time to get things. Why wouldn't you? most things that you may want are cheaper, sometimes 50% cheaper, you'd have to be a mindless sheep to avoid it ffs.

Come Boxing Week, I'm going to buy a PS4. I'm going to be sure to get up about 2 hours before the stores even open, then hit the line-up at the electronic store and immediately grab a PS4 and buy that shit for a little cheaper than retail price. And you know what, TS? I'm excited as FUCK.

I've never heard of anybody getting violent like you described, but there are plenty of assholes around during those days. Try to get infront of you while standing in line, try to make sure they grab something before you do, meaning they run across the room and grab it, you know? like in cartoons and shit. Sometimes they hold up the line because something isn't cheap enough for such an important person like them, etc, etc.

You Canadian? I agree Boxing day is where it's at. It's also more manageable to deal with the crowds as it's usually all week, so you don't have to go out the day of Boxing day for most items.. The only day "boxing week" is bad is opening day cause most of the big ticket items are the ones that "sheeple" are scrambling for. The smaller things like clothing and media usually lasts the first several days, at least this is my experience. Want to get that new TV? Better be there the first few hours of said store opening or miss out.
 
I don't care. If you want to go out and shop, good for you. Not my thing, but I won't judge you. The hating on BF is just as pathetic as the greed that drives people to go out on Black Friday. Why do you care so much what other people do? They aren't forcing you to go shop.

Creates a lot of jobs and hours for overtime, too, so it's got its benefits.
