Those thick, shock absorption ones. The small cheap guards most boxing gyms sell you for 7.99 aren't what you want for hard sparring, let alone a fight. Regardless, getting your teeth fucked up is always a risk. I'll never forget grappling and I had a dude in an arm triangle and started to rotate away from the body when I heard several cracks and immediately let go. I asked him "oh shit, is your neck okay?" He sat up with his hand over his mouth and spit out bits of teeth. Remember the kid from TUF who ate a flush knee and when he pulled out his mouthguard several teeth were lodged in the mouthguard? Fuck.

I was stupid enough not to wear a mouthguard though which probably would have been better. I got one fitted at the dentist for £50. I also have one to wear every night as I grind my teeth during my sleep but I never wear it now I ave a lot of dental work to get done tomorrow funnily enough.

Cheers buddy, appreciated, yeah same i'm 40 and still hate it to this day lol. I'm not as bad as a lot of people with proper phobias of the dentist but like 99% of people I dislike it very much. I've already lost 3 teeth right at the back of my mouth 2 on one side, 1 on the other from tablets I take that unfortunately make my gums recede. As long as I keep to my 3-6 month appointments though going forward that will never happen in the future again.

Tonight was the first card I chose not to watch at all. I watched bkfc though. Usually I miss them because I have other things to do, if not, I always watch. This one was just trash on paper so I said fuck it and cleaned my bathroom instead

haha what an oddly emotional reply... I waited up all night for the last two fights after being sick from spinal cancer all day. Never said a word about the quality of the card. Just wanted to go to bed and was disappointed.

116 pbp pages for a BKFC card. I think like 25 pages or some shit is the most I’ve seen for a BKFC card before.

My gf just left. We went to visit my mom. Then got back here. Drinking alcohol and smoking weed. She scored some hash from her sister. It just wasn’t around for like 20 years or some shit. Not here in Edmonton, anyway. Watched the UFC until this card started.

What was it.. something like 4 fighters totally QUIT on that BKFC card. Fucking weird. I’ve never seen that many on one card before.

Ferea is a violent woman. She’s can’t miss tv like Andrade, imo.

As I always say. If my gf is over for the fights. I miss all the good pbp stuff. Because like the loving cool old guy that I am. She’s the most important person in my life. So when we are together she gets my full attention.

Oh btw.. How many of you people think Alvarez won that fight? I’m curious. I’ll read the pbp tomorrow after I wake up.

Mendes was puffing at the end of the first and Eddie was just getting going. Good scrap though my family enjoyed it.

I’m getting soft maybe but I kind of feel bad for Rockhold. He never really got respect in Strikeforce or UFC because he was the pretty boy with good skills. His personality didn’t help gain him fans either. But after that fight vs Paulo Costa.. it was amazing to see the entire MMA fan base give Rockhold his flowers. I don’t know what happened tonight but I do believe Rockhold might have underestimated Perry.

I think most MMA fans recognize that he had a solid skillset. His cocky stupidity is even endearing at times.

With that said, it was his kicks and grappling got him to the top of MMA. No idea why he thought boxing was a good idea.
