Perry is a warrior, but I'd also point out Rockhold not being a good boxer to begin with exacerbated by him being only half hearted in the fight. We need to respect people like perry
He's a god damn warrior
Technique don't mean shit past a certain point
He didn't even look like he wanted to be in there once he got hit. Clearly didn't think any further aesthetic damage was worth it.Luke got absolutely cracked

Investing in a Gym when you're a known name (and face) like Luke seems like a sound thing to do. You're safe from beatdowns, and transmitting your knowledge and experience as you get older is the normal course of things. It's probably hard to leave the spotlights, but being in the teacher's position is a very fulfilling role IMO.Honestly, at this point he should either go do One Grappling or just open up a gym, he has talent and knowledge to teach but he is done fighting.
i had never heard of dat nguyen until i watched BKFC and now I will make sure to tune into every fight he is in. he just beat daniel strauss from bellator IMO pretty easily. All BKFC needs is for viewers to continue to watch, and it wouldn't hurt to have more fighters that are great on the mic. they already have a high finish percentage, exciting fights, people literally just need to do what they did tonight, and set aside a couple of hours for some serious pro-violent action. they are doing the right things, signing UFC fighters, building names, making exciting match ups, i mean how good was that eddie alvarez fight? watch their champion matches, it is all good shit. i think people over here have finally woken up.Stars can be born off the backs of other stars sometimes. Maybe a few lesser knowns just need to beat some retired stars to draw some attention. They need guys like Perry who are willing to put their head in a wood chipper time and time again until he's ready to pass the torch to the next madman. Or they could just keep doing high profile one-offs.
Drunk on coke will do that. I hear. That too. But coke doesn't make everybody into a fkn rage freak. He looked like he was about to flip and stopped himself to shake his hand.
Powerslap is next.Conor is already the champ. He’s the face of mma, boxing and now BKFC

it's too bad, i thought he did OK against Costa, given the comeback time and time off. having no gloves though is serious shit, most fighters end up looking like ground pork belly by the time the match is done. i think rockhold thought he was going to just dominate with his reach, and underestimated platinum perry. at this point, he should go to Rizin if he wants to do easier MMA at 185, or you're right. time to pass the torch. he doesnt have enough dog in him anymore.Investing in a Gym when you're a known name (and face) like Luke seems like a sound thing to do. It's also a rather safe source of income (I guess), which doesn't depend on your own fighting performances. He still has a lot of possibilities. I, for one, respect him as the good fighter he is. Takes some balls to fight in the UFC, and fighting Mike perry in BK, especially when you're far from your prime is certainly not what I'd call an easy payday.
Who doesn't like even less gloves on. BKFC's final form should be adding kicks above the waist.i had never heard of dat nguyen until i watched BKFC and now I will make sure to tune into every fight he is in. he just beat daniel strauss from bellator IMO pretty easily. it's skill too though, you can't just be tough. he knows what he's doing, he verbally and physically beat down rockhold, he's just a tempered kind of dude.We need to respect people like perry

the smaller gloves makes it more exciting for muay thai / kickboxing 100%. and no gloves for boxing is fucking awesome. I say, instead of kicks, let's add standing elbows. make it a pure above the waist sort of battle.Who doesn't like even less gloves on. BKFC's final form should be adding kicks above the waist.
Do you wanna be a bare knuckle fighter?
I didnt get to see tonight, but I saw a tiny clip. Rockhold just quit? I was expecting him to go out on his shield.Rockhold thinks he's tougher than he actually is. He's delusional about where he's at in fighting, dude should have stopped a long time ago. Props for surviving against Costa and putting on a show while looking like shit, but before that he was already looking pretty damn bad.

Makes perfect sense. His teeth got smashed in. Could be broken upper jaw. Best case scenario is just a bunch of teeth fucked up.
