Perry is a warrior, but I'd also point out Rockhold not being a good boxer to begin with exacerbated by him being only half hearted in the fight.

Investing in a Gym when you're a known name (and face) like Luke seems like a sound thing to do. You're safe from beatdowns, and transmitting your knowledge and experience as you get older is the normal course of things. It's probably hard to leave the spotlights, but being in the teacher's position is a very fulfilling role IMO.
It's also a rather safe source of income (I guess), which doesn't depend on your own fighting performances. He still has a lot of possibilities. I, for one, respect him as the good fighter he is. Takes some balls to fight in the UFC, and fighting Mike perry in BK, especially when you're far from your prime is certainly not what I'd call an easy payday.

i had never heard of dat nguyen until i watched BKFC and now I will make sure to tune into every fight he is in. he just beat daniel strauss from bellator IMO pretty easily. All BKFC needs is for viewers to continue to watch, and it wouldn't hurt to have more fighters that are great on the mic. they already have a high finish percentage, exciting fights, people literally just need to do what they did tonight, and set aside a couple of hours for some serious pro-violent action. they are doing the right things, signing UFC fighters, building names, making exciting match ups, i mean how good was that eddie alvarez fight? watch their champion matches, it is all good shit. i think people over here have finally woken up.

it's too bad, i thought he did OK against Costa, given the comeback time and time off. having no gloves though is serious shit, most fighters end up looking like ground pork belly by the time the match is done. i think rockhold thought he was going to just dominate with his reach, and underestimated platinum perry. at this point, he should go to Rizin if he wants to do easier MMA at 185, or you're right. time to pass the torch. he doesnt have enough dog in him anymore.

Who doesn't like even less gloves on. BKFC's final form should be adding kicks above the waist.
I didn't get to see them tonight (at work). I'll try to watch later this weekend. Looking forward to it.

the smaller gloves makes it more exciting for muay thai / kickboxing 100%. and no gloves for boxing is fucking awesome. I say, instead of kicks, let's add standing elbows. make it a pure above the waist sort of battle.

God forbid man. How much does it take for you and other's to realize this was about money? How thick headed can you be??? Why should he had not fought, when he said this was his biggest paycheck ever!
