Open mat, ran a little late getting there. Rolled with a tough blue, a smaller blue and an older black belt. Afterwards most other guys had left except the small blue, BB and I so we got a mini private lesson. He showed us a cool back take from side control and he explained it really well, breaking down a lot of details and we drilled a few times before leaving. Glad to learn something at open mat.

Pretty big class. Did some challenging drills to warm up then went over drop seio-nage a bunch of times, followed by the back take we did this morning. Rolled for 30 minutes and had mixed results. Moved slower tonight, as I usually do when doing twice per day. Went with a GIANT blue belt, got tapped once then tapped him with a triangle. He farted directly in my face when he rolled over his shoulder too and it was disgusting. Left with soreness in hips and face.
