BJJ Guys, What's Your Lineage?

Currently: Mitsuyo Maeda > Carlos Gracie > Carlson Gracie > Andre Pederneiras > Robson Moura > Me (purple belt.)

But I received my blue from Jorge Gurgel, and stripes on that belt from Sergio Silva. And I spent 7 months training with a Carlson BB and 6 months with a Rickson BB.

The Carlson BB definitely deserves the credit for bringing me up to blue belt level. The Rickson BB is still the guy I go to for help with fundamentals.

If I consider everything equally, my lineage is getting messy.

What's going to be important for me in the end is - who will decide I've earned the black belt? I imagine there will be a lot of people to thank for their help along the way.

This is what Wikipedia says about Cesar

"Jigoro Kano → Tsunejiro Tomita → Mitsuyo "Count Koma" Maeda → Carlos Gracie, Sr. → Robson Gracie → Cesar Gracie" > Me

It also says, "In 1996, Gracie received another certificate from his other uncle Carlos Gracie Jr."

Rickson Gracie>Fabio Santos>me for white through purple.

"Terere">Andre Galvao>me for first purple stripe till whatever happens.

Helio>royler>Rosendo diaz>Aaron Morris....till blue belt

Now it's:
Helio>rickson>pedro sauer> mike moses

i'd have to check with Thiago to confirm details but i think it is -

Mitsuyo Maeda > Carlson Gracie > Orlando Saraiva > Paulo Streckert > Thiago Stefanutti > Me

These threads are good and bad. But ill post anyway..

Maeda → Carlos Gracie → Helio Gracie → Royler Gracie → Saulo Ribeiro → Xande Ribeiro.... Me :)

as far as lineage goes, it's really hard to break it all down, but below is the list of my current grappling instructors.

Carlos Sr. -> Carlos Jr. -> Rigan Machado -> Ryan Fiorenzi -> ME (Blue Belt)

For now my coach above me is Andrew Gardineer who is under Giva Santana. My coach is leaving in March to go open a school in Malaysia so I'll probably transfer to the Lab and train under John Crouch.

I would have to split it up from when I started, the breakup of two schools and now the academy I am currently with which seems a little disrespectful.

All the people I have had as instructors are top notch and a great people to whom I still try and spend some mat time with when I have the chance.

My home school, Pedro Sauer->Mike Moses-> me(blue)

My current schoo, DLR-Kan-me(blue)
