I wonder who the real insecure person is who makes a thread about a fringe sport on an mma forum lol
what a combat sport where you need to restrict someone only to the ground with no striking lol
what happened to bjj being the best combat art form? Where are the bjj dominant champions? What happened to bjj being so great that you can beat anyone even when they are heavier than you?
Now what do we have? We have a bjj roided clown wanting to fight someone way smaller than them while not having any strikes or standing game
just lmfao
Take that up with the person who started the thread, not me...
All I'm saying is that your response was irrelevant to the thread topic...I'm not defending the thread topic as worthwhile or meaningful.
FWIW, your condescending perspective would apply to many other combat sports too, not just BJJ...like wrestling. Is wrestling a joke to you too, because there is no striking? And what about the striking-only sports, like muay thai and boxing? Would you say 'what a combat sport where you need to restrict someone only to standing with no grappling lol'...?
Yes, we all like MMA because it incorporates all of those elements...it's a 'real' as a combat sport can get. That doesn't mean that everything else is suddenly a joke and that we can't still appreciate other combat sports...it also doesn't mean we can't wonder how an elite MMA fighter might do against a specialist under one of those different rule sets.
You also embarrass yourself with your disrespectful, condescending words ("bjj roided clown"). Grow up a little.
