BJJ grappling Khabib vs Gordon Ryan

Ground striking is a massive part of Khabib's success on the mat in MMA. Without that he would lose badly to many BJJ grapplers at his own weight never mind Gordon who's the best in the world and weighs 220lbs+ now. Gordon is the best openweight nogi grappler in the world and regularly clowns on 240lbs+ guys with legit grappling. Only a pure UFC, MMA or Dagesfan tard thinks this is even competitive.

Khabib is great but these 8 second clips of them looking good vs Olympians yet we have never seen them in an actual wrestling match. These gym stories of them consistently tapping ADCC champions yet for whatever reason Khabib never competed in the ADCCs? Oh and apparently Khabib trains at a kickboxing academy but never loses rounds to elite strikers, coulda been a Glory champ if he wanted. I have begun to feel his camp is a little selective about matchmaking and has realized that promoting himself and his guys as unbeatable is a great tactic but it's begun to feel very manufactured to me.

They never said they beat glory champ in full striking sparring...

Well, i think isn't much a debate Khabib vs any high level BJJ competitor. Leonid Gatovisky is far from being on the top echelons of grappling(and he was a brown belt at the time). I really don't care if Khabib was 18. His prime version would get smoke by any of the top 10 grapplers.

Khabib grapples very differently from how he fights. He'll play guard a lot, even open guards like de la riva. He will attack from a wider variety of positions and incorporatesubs he normally doesn't in mma. A change him in Leandro made later in his career is putting more focus on adding more of his sub game into his fights.

Throw him against someone in the 170 range and he does well under point based rules. Just not against guys of Gordon's skill and size
